Lovely hotel close to airport. A short Tuk Tuk ride to the beach.

Das Hotel eignet sich für 1-2 Übernachtungen, bevor man zum Flughafen fährt. Es ist hübsch mit 6 grossen Zimmern, einem kleinen Pool mit Liegen, Stühlen und nettem Personal. Es ist aber etwas abgelegen. Halten Sie bei der Anreise im Taxi die genaue Adresse und Telefonnummer bereit. Bei Reservation kann man abends gut und günstig essen. Mückenspray bereit halten! Geldwechsel ist nicht möglich. Zum Strand ist es zu Fuss zu weit, aber man kann ein Tuktuk bestellen. Zum Flughafen kann man mit dem Hotelbus für 20 Dollars und 4 Personen fahren.

Arrived late at night at this hotel after flying in from Bangkok. We had been travelling all day so desperately wanted a shower and a good nights sleep. We were given a room close to the reception, spacious but with large patches of mould along one wall. The room looked very shabby and had a definite musty smell. Had it not been midnight we would have refused to stay in this room but we were so tired we decided one night was tolerable. The bathroom was adequate with hot running water but again mould on the walls. The bed was very soft and the bedding very worn.
On the plus side, this hotel has a beautiful pool set in lush tropical gardens. The staff were friendly, enough and the cost was very reasonable. Breakfast if you chose a full english was lovely but continental consisted of anaemic toast and a few pieces of chocolate cake. I would definitely not stay here again. The mould on the walls was unacceptable. I have lived in the tropics and know that this occurs with poor maintenance of a property.
The hotel is located in a quiet area, a drive away from the beach and the fish market.

Very nice hotel, clean and spacious. Staff are friendly and helpful. Had dinner there and was really good, although took a little long. Swimming pool was nice but did not get get a chance to use it. Bathroom and room were really spacious with all the toiletries to that of a 5*.Breakfast was really good with a wide enough choice. Overall a good choice and a positive first impression of Sri Lanka :) will definitely recommended and will stay here when we return.

The service was very good and enjoyed our stay. The bed was comfortable and we slept so well!

 Location: It's a small hotel in the residential area so you need a driver to take you there.
 Room: Spacious and well decorated to have a real feel that you are in Sri Lanka.
 Staff: Friendly and respond quickly to our demands.
 Pool: Not crowded for number of rooms in this hotel is limited.
 Distance to the airport: No need to be super early to get to the airport because it's close to the airport.
 Choice of breakfast: many of options despite it’s a small hotel.
* Dislike:
 A little bit noisy: Close to the airport so the noise of airplane can be heard. Heard 3 times of worships by loudspeakers in a Sunday morning. 2 are from Muslim, 1 is from Catholic. Besides these two points, it is a peaceful and tranquil environment.
 Dining: Eat inside is a little expensive but eat outside of the hotel may require some time to find a good place.

Staff were kind and attentive. Room was clean, extremely spacious and the bed was super comfy. I stayed here on my last day of vacation to get some good rest before going back and this was an amazing place to do it. Would highly recommend!

A most enjoyable return visit to Sri Lanka staying at this hotel.
Staff are wonderful and feel like our extended family.can’t do enough for us, and so so friendly and pleasant despite their limited English.
Comfortable, spotlessly clean rooms, excellent food, plenty of choice.

Very relaxing gardens and pool area, easy tuktuk/taxi service to get around cheaply.

Would definitely recommend and would re visit ( our 2nd time from UK)

An excellent small hotel, set in beautiful gardens, in quiet part of Negombo, yet short ride by tuk tuk to the beach. The restaurant menu offered a good selection; staff were professional & efficient. It was very helpful to pre-pay extra for airport transfer.

When we were picked up at Colombo airport at 1 am, the hotel man was much kindly to take us to the hotel among many tourists in the aiport. Next morning, the tourist car that we booked from Japan did not come. But the hotel manager arranged other car quickly for us. So, we lost only 2 hours. The driver whose name was Rajah (www.ngeurotravels.blogspot.com) took us three days with technical driving safely through the crowd of Srilanka. He was shy but reliable because he was waiting for us to return hotel from walking around strange town in Nuwara eliya. Thank you all.

It was a clean hotel with friendly staff, perfect if you need to be close to the airport.

>Terrible Transfer Service
Don't use this hotel for Transit Stay. We had confirmed our arrival flight beforehand but nobady was at the airport. We had to wait for more than one hour even if it was at 11pm and we have 2-year old kid. We tried to contact the hotel by telephone and email many times but nobody answered. After we could contact the hotel , the staff said the driver is already at the aiport, but it seems to be cheating because we had to wait for a long time after we could contact them. Also, the hotel driver IGNORE everything. we asked him if he is a hotel driver but he didn't answer, just look us and drove. (the hotel's acquaintance male took us to this driver's car)
After we arrived at the hotel, the hotel staff didn't apologize for the delay. He just said " It is not so late" and many excuses.... It was Very Much Dishonesty.

Room facilities is good but there were many ants in the room, we couldn't take off shoes. Also there was Mosquito and Fly, even some Larva.

>Uncomfortable service for Breakfast
There was no guest in a restaurant when we went for the breakfast, but the staff didn't allow us to use 4 people table even we asked for. then we had to hug our 2-year-kid and ate. The quality of breakfast is good.

>Duplicate charge
FInally, they request us to pay for Room charge at check out even we had already paid through EXPEDIA. Also, they didn't prepare for the transfer to the airport AGAIN even we confirmed beforehand. We had to wait again.

空港近くだったので、深夜便到着後宿泊。ピックアップを依頼したが無料かつメールのリスポンスも早く安心できた。一部バスタブが故障していたりしたものの快適に滞在できた。

We stayed here for 1 night at the end of our honeymoon. The hotel was beautiful and we really enjoyed our stay. The food was fantastic - we had the seafood platter as a last night treat and the Sri Lankan breakfast in the morning with the best dahl we had ever tasted!! Only 2 slight quibbles with the food: we were not told that we had to order the 18 dish Sri Lankan curry in advance and there was no fruit or juice with breakfast.

Small romantic hotel, great staff and very private with few rooms. The jacuzzi had some mysterious stains though (dunno if they was removable since I didn't use it). Transport to and from the airport was included, however the dogs at night was a pain barking.

Arrived at hotel to stay for one night before flying home. The facility is great in every way. What impressed us most was the additional service Amila provided. Extra luggage stored no problem. Additional bbed in room and an offer to set up dinner for our group poolside. Great ambience there. Strong recommendation all round.

Stayed here overnight while en route to south Sri Lanka. It wasn't as close to the airport as I had hoped, the taxi drivers had a hard time finding it also.
