We did not stay the full night as we were only there to dress for a formal event we were attending. However we rested and were in the room for four or five hours and go a good feel for the experience. As the building is rather old I believe, the rooms ceilings and walls have been striped down to the structural supports, though some local wood had been added to soften the effect. As someone who doesn't care for the "industrial" esthetic I can say though not huge the room was comfortable enough and seemed to be kept in good order, I did not find fault with the mattress and rested easily. The bathroom could use more lighting but it was adequate for evening makeup and very elaborate hair.

Staff was super nice and the hotel was clean. A bit loud but you are downtown Portland.
Could use some TLC in the room. Stains on the furniture could be cleaned very easily and the TV needs replaced. Manager even said so on the television. lol
Great spot downtown, sitting atop the iconic Huber’s restaurant. Drew, at registration, was fabulous. Overall, the staff were friendly and helpful.
The place itself has a cool, modern vibe. Our room was on the top floor and had high concrete ceilings.
The gym is on the basement level and had ample equipment. The lighting was too dim for my taste and other than that, we really enjoyed our stay!
Spa and swimming pool is outdoor and looks not so clean so we did not use it.
We enjoyed our stay the staff was great and property is very clean the lobby is a little dated but rooms were comfortable and bathrooms very nice. Must be aware of your surroundings being in city many homeless people in area.
Everything was fine at first, they gave me a different room than I requested, but I let it be known at the reception and they quickly solved the problem and gave me the one I had chosen, then I have a higher charge than I had scheduled and the receptionist told me that it is a temporary charge and that I would be reimbursed at the end of the stay but they have not yet reimbursed me for that extra charge, I hope it does not take longer than necessary.
Really great hotel in a good location. Nice room. On-site restaurant/bar. We were able to walk to meet friends at local bars/restaurants. Excellent staff.
We had an incredible stay at the Hi-Lo while visiting Portland. The staff at the front desk were super friendly and welcoming, which set the tone right away. When we stopped by the bar, Vivi was such a delight to chat with—she was incredibly engaging and made our afternoon even better. The only small drawback was that one of the elevators was out of service, which made wait times a bit longer. Even so, it didn’t take away from the overall experience, and we would definitely choose to stay here again on future visits.

We had an amazing time at this hotel. It’s super clean and new. The rooms are huge and well stocked!! Everyone working here is very friendly and sweet. Definitely coming back here when I’m in town again.
Clean & Quiet
Great room and service. I liked the robe. One elevator wasn’t working, which slowed some things down. Central location in Portland and walking distance to a lot of places.
I liked the cleanliness of the hotel room, nice water pressure, nice temperature for shower just not the hotel itself they need to do better with keeping the trash cans empty and the front door rug swept.. but staff is friendly and accommodating. Area is not great but it’s ok beware of homeless trying to mess with you.. would I stay here again? Probably not lol
