Great stay, perfect location, very clean.
Pros:

We stayed at Hunters Lodge Hotel while attending a wedding at Springkell, and it was the perfect choice. The hotel was exceptionally clean – honestly, I couldn't find a single speck of dust anywhere, including in the beautiful bridal suite where we stayed.

The location was ideal, being easy to find and perfectly situated for Gretna Outlet Village. Linda, the owner, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. She gave us excellent advice about local taxis, which made getting to and from the wedding completely stress-free. She also had no issue with our friends coming to our room to get changed before we all left, which we really appreciated.

We decided to add a cooked breakfast when we arrived, and we're so glad we did. The portions were just right, everything was delicious, and the haggis was especially good!

Fantastic value for money, spotless accommodation, and wonderful hospitality. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The location was good, close to the shops and not a far drive to Carlisle

Staff super friendly

The bedroom was cosy and clean

The cobwebs in the dining room on the curtains,

The food was bland, no flavour

Black currant and lemonade tasted like dish water and the glasses weren’t clean and for the price of the room for one night I found it expensive, no breakfast included and an extra £40 on meals. Made it an expensive stay.

Would definitely book again , the proprietary was very helpfhelpful.

Breakfast was as expected, typical breakfast served, cereal, yoghurt, toast and full breakfast, let them know what and don't want.
Definitely visit again, bus into Carlisle stop outside hotel.
