Pros:

Huge window to sit and look at the ocean. We had a two bedroom room and it was so comfortable. There was also a small balcony which was also like a private access. You can't beat the location. Plenty of hot water, with excellent pressure. Comes with breakfast, continental, but you can also get eggs anyway you like. The dining room had amazing views too. It was just awesome.

Pros:

The location is beautiful but it gets very noisy and cold when it's windy :)
The hotel is really lovely. The room was spacious, the bed big and comfy ( has electric blanket if you like it cosy). The sea view was fantastic. Tasty tea/coffee provided and milk in the fridge.
Shower was great.
The breakfast/ lounge room was really nice especially with the fire on.
Continental breakfast with eggs cooked to your liking.

Stunning sea views and great hotel in Bluff
Pros:

The location is stunning. We had a room with a fabulous sea view, even in the rain. Andy, the owner, was very welcoming and looked after us very well. We very much appreciated the excellent breakfast.

Cons:

There are no real options to eat in Bluff during the evening, if the restaurant next to the hotel is not open. We ate in Invercargill before heading out to Bluff.

A great place for a romantic overnight getaway. Bring your wine.
Pros:

The location was excellent, the accommodation was excellent, the staff were excellent. There were 4 in our party and we had the place to ourselves. The staff lit the fire so we could sit around after dinner and enjoy a wine.

Cons:

The rooms were on the small size so we were struggling to manoeuvre around our bags. We had to make enquiries to find out that the restaurants in town were all closed. It would have been good if the hotel website had told us this as the opening times online are not that accurate.

Stunning views at the edge of the land
Pros:

Spectacular view, and special to be at the southern point of Te Wai Pounamu The Oyster Cove next door serves up delicious food.

Cons:

Understanding that the isolation can create the higher price point, however parts of the property fejt tired. Little touches such as current travel magazines or books on the area could help elevate the promise of a luxury stay.

Great place to stay in bluff
Pros:

Location was perfect to catch the ferry to Stewart island . The views and sound of surf from our room were wonderful . Lovely staff greeting us , helping a and serving us a beautiful breakfast
