Could not ask for better
Pros:

​I really enjoyed my stay at the Royal Hotel. The manager was outstanding; he even upgraded the rooms for both me and my friends.

​I slept extremely well as the hotel was very quiet and clean. Its central location was perfect, and the breakfast was excellent with a huge variety of choices. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone—it is extremely good value for money.

Base whilst visit various family members around the area.
Pros:

Very helpful and friendly staff. The food was very good. We had to leave before breakfast was served on the Sunday but we were given two ample and nice lunch boxes instead. Situated in the centre of Tain with ample parking behind the hotel. Stayed here 20 years ago and will probably use it on our next visit.

Cons:

The room menu showed a large selection but due to it being quiet empty, the actual menu was much reduced. The room needed some tlc as there was some mould high up on the wall above the bath/shower. Also, one piece of wallpaper had come loose at a corner by the ceiling and two pieces of ceiling paper had come loose on a portion of the ceiling

Perfect !
Pros:

We were given the most amazing room with a four poster bed and a stunning bathroom which we hadn’t booked. Was much appreciated. Staff were so friendly and helpful and breakfast was lovely. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff.

400 Year old hotel was a cool place to stay. Staff were great, they were very friendly.

A lovely stay!
Pros:

The breakfast was great! The beds were comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The tea/coffee and biscuits in the room was nice. The rooms were clean. Great location, was central in town.
