Lovely stay!
Pros:

The management and staff were super friendly and helpful. My room was The King Suite which looked out over the famous clocktower as well as the small High Street, The four poster bed was very comfortable and the room very spacious with high ceilings and ornate corniches. Good value for money in an excellent location.

Cons:

It's hard to match" boutique "standards and yes a few rough edges , but they do not matter to me , the room was Agatha Christie brilliant and the management excellent.

Retro hotel, great service
Pros:

The staff, I could not have asked for a more welcoming and friendly reception.

The chap running the hotel seemed to do everything for everyone but he was so efficient hand friendly.

The place is a bit old, but full of character.

Not worth the money
Pros:

Staff were polite, although looked past me and spoke straight towards my partner

Cons:

Very run down and in need of a revamp. Poor cleanliness and in need or repair. Wooden toilet seat that was peeling and had water damage to the wood and black mold/staining around the bath

Pros:

Location was great with free parking.

The breakfast was great and the staff were friendly.

The bed was comfy

Cons:

The hotel and room come across as rather dated and in certain aspects could do with updating such as TV, the bathroom fixtures felt as though they were on the verge of breaking as I had to put the towel rack back on the wall mounts myself and the sink was rather loose and the light in the shower didn't work.

älteres Hotel aber sauber und tolles Frühstück
Pros:

Die Lage war zentral und der Parkplatz gleich daneben.
Bett war für mich ok und es war alles sauber.
Das Frühstück (samt Auswahl) war hervorragend und der Rezeptionist war sehr freundlich.
Kein Lift daher nicht barrierefrei.
Das Hotel ist schon älter und dürfte viel von Arbeitern genutzt werden.
Im Großen und Ganzen war es bei uns nur 1 Nacht und in Ordnung.

Cons:

Der Handtuchwärmer im Bad (Heizkörper) war oben locker - das sollte unbedingt fixiert werden, die Handtuchhalter an der Wand waren ebenfalls nicht festgezogen. Ich bin mir sicher, dass Laminatboden im Bad nicht die Beste Wahl ist.
Das Licht direkt über dem Spiegel im Bad hat nicht funktioniert.
Den Fernseher konnten wir zwar einschalten allerdings hatte der kein Signal.

Pros:

The breakfast was super, the chef prepared the breakfast based on our order, and it was very tasty. The rooms were very spacisous and nice. Please note that all the rooms are different types, so facilities in one room may not be same as other.
