place is dark, toilet seat was loose, no outlet in bathroom. we booked the u it for two days and stayed one night only. Poor management, the people running this place are at the wrong job. I would not recommend this place at all.

Beautiful place in an amazing location.
Pros:

Rooms were really nice and clean. Location was amazing down on the water by the Fjord...just a stones throw away from the food trucks(food was great there) and also from the waters edge. Beautiful setting!

Cons:

A bit more touristy than I really prefer...the larger downside was since we were traveling as a family of 5 we had to get two rooms. When we got the 1st room we noticed a murphy bed that was installed into the room and with that we could have fit everyone into that 1 room. Apparently that bed system was just installed and was not "active" yet so we ended up paying for 2 rooms...it's not a huge thing but was pricy and kind of disappointing in it all.

All in all it was a very good stay for just 2 nights.
Pros:

The location is wonderful except during cruise season. When we arrived there was a large MCS cruise ship in the dock located right behind the hotel. Looking from our balcony that’s all we could see! Luckily they left by 4pm. I believe there is a schedule of when the cruise ships will be in port. We only stayed for 2 nights so it was no issue, but just fyi.
The area had lots of food trucks, a couple of local restaurants, shopping and a small grocery store. The best feature is the spectacular views!

Cons:

While the hotel is nice and in a great location, it is a bit pricey. One morning there was a loud tractor noise that could be heard since you have to keep windows and door ajar to get any air. Also, if your neighbors are loud you can certainly hear them especially if they are on the balcony.

Amazing location. Great room and friendly staff
Pros:

We were in a double room/apartment near to the main building. It was lovely with plenty of room. Very clean. Breakfast was good. The fjord and views were amazing. Staff were very friendly

Pros:

The location was amazing.

Cons:

My building was under renovation which was fine, the workers were kind and the noise was non existent when I was winding down. But because I was the only one in the building my room next go cleaned, or towels exchanged or coffee replenished. Thankfully there was a cabinet where I could help myself to some of the thing the rooms had in them like coffee. It just seemed odd, and neglected.

Nice hotel with friendly staff but pricey and no peace in the mornings.
Pros:

Relaxing, quiet breakfast. Buffet was also fairly varied.

Staff very friendly and helpful, making recommendations for lunch and storing luggage.

Clean room and comfortable bed. Only had one pillow each but I requested more and the staff were very accommodating.

Central location. Great fjord view…

Cons:

Hairdryer was a rubbish travel style one. One speed / heat setting and you had to hold the button down to operate. Given the standard of the hotel otherwise, it felt like there should have been a proper hairdryer.

Our room overlooked the fjord and the restaurant’s garden. The view was amazing until the cruise ship turned up. Not the hotel’s fault and while the view being ruined is one thing, there’s really no need for the endless announcements the ship does at 7.30 in the morning. Also, the garden, which is owned by the hotel, seemed to be used as the meeting point for all of local morning tours so huge groups were meeting and shouting / chatting early in the morning. It did wake us up unfortunately.

It was pretty expensive per night, even for Norway.

Pros:

Magnifique hôtel rustique bien situé avec une vue superbe imprenable. Réceptionniste accueillant. Chambre magnifique avec un très grand balcon en angle. Quais à proximité avec accès direct aux bateaux et croisières. Petit parking privé avec chargeurs électriques. Super petit déjeuner buffet juste en face de l'hôtel. Super restaurant convivial à proximité immédiate de l'hôtel. Parkings payants hors de la zone... Tout se fait à pied.

Cons:

Certains grands bateaux peuvent gâcher un peu la vue.
