Prachtig locatie maar koude douche en middelmatig ontbijtbuffet.
Pros:

De locatie

Cons:

Je kon niet warm douchen. De warme gerechten van het ontbijtbuffet vielen tegen.

Away less than expected
Pros:

Hotel close to the Pavilion and Arab street. But this would be a struggle if it is rainy.

Cons:

Neighbourhood is dirty and just feel you are walking around unsafe places. I found mosquitoes flying over the salad and fruits section on the buffet. Also you could easily hear the other room and street noise from my room (uncomfortable).

Good but could be wonderful
Pros:

The staff were wonderful throughout my stay and were always friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The location was excellent, particularly for a solo female traveller, as I felt safe and it was convenient for exploring the area.

The made-to-order egg station at breakfast was a highlight, with freshly cooked eggs prepared just as requested.

The complimentary afternoon wine, tea, and treats were a lovely touch and something I think more hotels should consider offering.

The hotel also arranged my taxi to the airport, which was very helpful. The taxi arrived promptly on the morning of my departure, making for a smooth and stress-free end to my stay.

Cons:

Breakfast was very disappointing. The selection was quite limited, with very little variety, and food was replenished too slowly. As a result, I chose to eat at local restaurants for around half of my stay.

The following issues were not reported to the hotel during my stay. In hindsight, it would have been fairer to give the hotel the opportunity to address them, but as I was only there for a few days, I didn't want the inconvenience of packing and moving rooms.

My room was in need of some TLC. There was missing grout in the shower, some of the shower seals needed replacing, and there was a small amount of mould in the shower area. Overall, the room would benefit from more thorough maintenance and attention to detail.

Not a major issue, but more of an annoyance: the bathroom sink tap did not extend far enough over the basin, which meant water regularly splashed onto the surrounding surface. The sink also drained quite slowly.

The pool is also very small, and the section of the roof terrace that receives direct sunlight is limited, so it's not really possible to sunbathe there throughout the day.

Will be back if ever we get back to KL
Pros:

Everything, especially the staff and their customer service

Cons:

We had a challenge at the start with no hot water, but they acted swiftly and changed room. There onwards it was all positive.
