Steen's Hotel

Comfortable and spacious room really close to the station, nearny St Georg where there are loads of lovely restaurants and cafes. 15 min walk from the Rathaus so loads to see on the doorstep. The hotel was clean but we didn't see any staff whilst we were there, so had the same issue as others with check in, but fortunately we didn't have to wait too long for an answer on the phone when we called to check in at the door. We'd have preferred to see someone at reception simply because we had a broken light bulb that never got fixed, though we did send a few emails. Overall, good value for money but do be prepared for a little momentary anxiousness on arrival when no one answers the doorbell

Nära järnvägsstationen och en jättegod frukost har ätit på Junge Bakeri som ligger väldigt nära.

Du får hvad du ser. Ingen morgenmad muligt, men masser af muligheder i nærheden. Central beliggenhed, pænt og rent.

Bei Rezeption war niemand obwohl im Homepage steht Rezeption offren bis 23:00!

Leistung - Preis ist gut.
Die Lage ist perfekt! Es ist 2 Blocks vom Hauptbahnhof entfernt und man kann viele Orte zu Fuß erreichen.
Mein Zimmer war in Ordnung, die Dusche ist sehr klein, aber für die 4 Tage, die ich blieb, war das kein großes Problem.
Houskeeping kommt jeden Tag, um den Müll aus dem Zimmer zu werfen, sie macht das Bett aber nicht (aber das ist etwas, das mir nicht so wichtig war.) Alles in allem ist der Preis-Service für mich gut.
WICHTIG: Es ist nicht immer jemand an der Rezeption.
Als ich ankam, war niemand da, aber die Tür zeigte 3 Telefonnummern an, die ich anrufen sollte. Ich tat es und sie gaben mir alle Informationen, um in mein Zimmer zu bekommen.

There is no registration person on-site, you must call a number to retrieve acode to access your key. The room was up 2 flights, with no elevator. The room was spacious, but the issue was the black moldgrowi g in the bathroom. It wasin numerous places on the walls and that was certainly a concern. We stayed 1 night then departed, agai , no one at registration.

Receptionen er ikke bemandet. Det fungere meget dårligt. Der gik 10 min før en meget venlig rengøringsdame kom og lukkede op!

Close to downtown and convenient for walking. Check in was difficult and ultimately got assistance from another guest as the front desk advertised as being open until 2200hr but it was not.

Es war alles in Ordnung .

Bis auf die Lage hat in diesem Hotel nichts gestimmt, auch wenn der Herr an der Rezeption nett war. Kaputte Lampen fehlende Birnen dazu, kein Schrank, kaputte Fenster die sich nicht schließen ließen, niemand den man fragen konnte, Blick auf einen Hinterhofschrottplatz.
Wir würden nicht mehr dieses Hotel buchen.

Nous sommes arrivés le jeudi soir a 20h. L accueil était fermé. Les clés sont a disposition dans une boîte à clé. Personne ne nous a prévenu du code. Il a fallu téléphoner pour avoir celui ci.
L hôtel était en travaux. Des lits et des matelas dans les couloirs.
Pas d'ascenseur pour monter les valises.
Personne non plus le lendemain matin à la réception.
Et surtout personne pour redonner les clés le dernier jour.
Nous avons eu affaire a une réception d'hôtel fantôme. Par contre merci les bruits d enfants qui courent dans les étages supérieurs, les ouvriers qui viennent à partir de 8h et qui ne se privent pas de faire du bruit, l absence de volet,l eau chaude qui arrivent au bout de 10 min, le lit rafistolé au mieux, l absence de prise et d antenne pour la télévision.
Bref un hôtel que je ne vous recommande pas du tout.

Fine if all you need is a cheap bed. Handy location for the Hauptbahnhof and city centre, but the bare minimum. No reception staff - you have to call a number to get a code for the lockbox at the door. Good luck with the dial code dialling from a non-German phone (+39 and leave out the first 0). Stairs only, no lift. No kettle/breakfast. Don't think I'll go back

Prima verblijf gehad. Inchecken ging prima, heel vriendelijk geholpen, daarna niemand meer gezien bij de receptie, Locatie is top, hotel is netjes, verwacht geen luxe maar daar is de prijs ook naar. Kamer wordt dagelijks schoongemaakt. Klein nadeel, de wasbak in de badkamer is nogal klein en laag en de plank erboven groot, hierdoor vrijwel onmogelijk om je wat op te frissen. Lampje boven het bed was stuk, proberen uit te leggen aan de schoonmaakster maar die sprak alleen Oekraïens en ze snapte niet wat ik bedoelde ook niet na het laten zien van het niet functioneren van de lamp. Het zou prettig zijn als de receptie bemand zou zijn zodat je met klachten bij iemand terecht kan. Als je een goede centrale slaapplek zoekt in Hamburg met ruime kamers, goede douche en verder geen opsmuk dan kan ik dit hotel zeker aanbevelen

Ingen babyseng. Vi blev lovet en elkedel, så vi kunne lave mad til vores baby. Den kom aldrig. Vi næste kun personale ved indcheckning, så ingen form for service.
