Pros:

Once again, we had a great overnight stay here at the Kimpton Schofield. Joseph, Ella and Geordan could not have been more welcoming. Our room was great, the restaurant next door so convenient and the welcoming glass of wine could not have been more appreciated from a long day on the road. 5 stars

Thanks to the Kimpton Schofield, Betts resto, and Dan & Jen's Luxury Experience limo service in Cleveland
Pros:

Our 7th floor room was clean and spacious with a nice view of downtown Cleveland. It appears to have been recently renovated. The only real complaint is that the lighting in the bathroom is inadequate and I had to set up a makeshift makeup table using my suitcase flipped on its side and set into the wide window ledge. There were plenty of towels, tissues, hot water and toiletries. The hotel provides bottled water every day without charge. We requested a microwave and it was provided. A mini-fridge is built into the dresser. There are 3 generous drawers and a closet full of hangers for adequate storage. The hotel is quiet and the staff is courteous. The beds and linens were reasonably comfortable but the pillows were too hard for us hard. We always travel with out own pillows! So this was not a problem for us. In addition, breakfast is included at the attached gourmet resto Betts!

The food at Betts is amazing. We ate all our dinners there. We were in Cleveland to attend our grandson's graduation and the last night, we hosted a celebration in honor of the occasion for a party of 9. Everyone was delighted with the food. The cocktail menu is innovative, delicious and addictive. There are plenty of choices of vegetarian, vegan and seafood dishes on the menu.

We must also sing the praises of the luxury ride from the airport provided by Dan & Jen's Luxury Experience. Dan & Jen picked us up at Cleveland Hopkins airport at 11:15 PM. When I called them to say we had arrived, they were already there waiting for us! We had given them our flight details and told them we would have baggage to pick up. They were actually right outside the door next to the carousel where we picked up our luggage! Dan is an exceptionally careful driver. They were pleasant and courteous. The car was clean and in perfect condition, a deluxe van with ample seating room and plenty of space for our 4 pieces of luggage.

Pros:

This could be a really fantastic hotel but it needs a bit of work. It’s very noisy. The car is outside all night. Long are very loud. Proof of witches that they give you earplugs to help you sleep at night. They should just put better windows in.
It’s decorated to look very good, but it’s not very practical. If you actually have to work at the desk, the chair in the room is extremely uncomfortable.
The bathroom showers are pretty cold because there are no doors on the showers. So all that nice hot air it’s just gone.
If you drive, it’s an additional $40 a day to park your car. They don’t tell you about that until you get here.
And the gym is barely a gym.

Comfortable rooms but lots of street noise
Pros:

Our room was nicely decorated, and it was clean and comfortable. Lionheart's coffee shop was in walking distance, and a grocery store with lots of quick service options was just across the street. Valets were friendly. I got a great sleep the first night, but the second night (Friday night) I was woken up about six times by sirens. Now I know why they have a noise machine and earplugs on the nightstand.

Want to pay for a good nights sleep...do not stay here
Pros:

Greeted very nicely when we checked in for three nights.
Room was very clean.
We soon discovered why they have a noise machine and earplugs on the bed. Our suite was very noisy. Heard all of the honks and loud noise from outside. And our three year old didn't sleep at all.
When we spoke to the manager the next day, she (Jana) had zero compassion that we didn't sleep last night. Offered us another sound machine.
When we went back later in the day as we had to meet family, she said she could provide a smaller room with no windows or a larger room on an upper floor for an additional $200 per night. Zero comp for the sleepless room/suite we had checked into. At $400 per night you would expect a good sleep!
We would have left and went to another hotel but couldn't find another room close by.

Called the manager on our way out and have never heard back.

Overall we loved the location and were very comfortable.
Pros:

The location of the hotel to where we needed to be was perfect. The room was very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay!

Cons:

Some of the furniture in the room was a bit shabby. The drawers stuck and were hard to open. The ironing board cover needed to be replaced because it was shredded. The remote for the TV in our room was missing.
