Perfect walking location to Rocket Mortgage Arena, plenty of restaurants and fun spots!! The staff was amazing and the rooms were amazing as well!! We found our perfect weekend getaway spot!!

I’m an IHG Diamond Elite member and while headed to Cleveland to root for our Buffalo Bills, was thrilled there was a Kimpton in town.

We arrived right before game time and Vincent at the valet station was a total angel in helping us! It was super busy and we had forgotten things in the car not once but twice that day and he was swift with his rescue!

Lobby was stylish and cozy, rooms are clean and comfortable, and we had a gorgeous city view. We enjoyed dinner at the bar, chatting with other football fans and had the most delicious meals and this insane giant snack cake for dessert! We will definitely stay here in the future.

We hosted our wedding room block at the Schofield, held our after party at Betts, and stayed in one of the suites for our special weekend. Everything was fantastic from start to finish.

Special shout-out to Marissa Lee in the sales and events office, who was the absolute MVP of the whole process. I’m pretty sure I emailed her about 500 times during the months of planning (from outside of Cleveland), and she was always quick to respond, kind, patient, and on top of every detail. She made coordinating multiple guests, adjoining rooms for child care, early check-ins, endless changes, the after party, and our own suite feel easy. We could not have asked for a better partner throughout the weekend.

The hotel itself was perfect for a wedding group. Great rooms, super comfortable beds, and a lobby that naturally became the hangout spot for friends and family. Our suite was ideal for getting ready on the big day, and the team helped us time everything around hair and makeup.

The after party at Betts was a huge hit. Perfect spot for everyone to keep the party going after the reception. The entire staff made us and our guests feel welcome and well taken care of all weekend long. Many of the staff stayed late helping close up the after party and we saw them the next morning working the breakfast shift. We appreciated their hard work and hospitality so much.

Overall, we had a great experience and are so grateful to the team, especially Marissa, for helping make our wedding weekend special. We will absolutely be back!

Every time I go to the Kimpton-Schofield, I am greeted by the highest level of hospitality. Whether it’s Ellie, Jana, Shantee, Ella, Jerrica, or Micaela, they all do such a wonderful job of making me feel at home. My room is always spotless, the meals are great, and the staff is next level. I would highly recommend staying here!

We are actually residents in the condos above the hotel and booked two rooms in the hotel to host family (including a child and two dogs) for Thanksgiving. The booking process was seamless, including our request for two adjoining rooms on a particular floor. Special thanks to Jana and Alicia for making booking and check-in a breeze and for checking in with us regular to ensure everything was taken care of. This is the advantage of a boutique hotel -- personalized service and professionalism. The rooms were modern, clean, and nicely furnished (very comfortable beds, according to our guests). The hotel is very conveniently located in the heart of downtown Cleveland, within walking distance of Playhouse Square, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and several stadiums.

I could not have had a better stay at the Kimpton Schofield Hotel! Cleanliness, atmosphere, rooms, value, location - that was all perfect, but what sets this Kimpton hotel apart is the amazing staff. Jana, Shantee, and Bill truly understand the art of welcoming a tired traveler and making a stay excellent from start to finish. Thank you!

We were fortunate enough to stay in the City View Suite after our wedding just down the street at House of Blues. The view was perfect, the hotel was spotless, and the staff was nothing short of amazing- anything anybody needed, they were there!!
Our guests who used our block also had great things to say about the Kimpton Schofield. The staff- especially Marissa!- made the experience so personal and we are eternally grateful for their hospitality. ❤️

I always appreciate the playful spirit of the Kimpton brand (as well as its pet-friendly policies). The common spaces in this hotel are beautiful and interesting. The hallways and aspects of the rooms themselves feel a bit dated and tired, but maybe that's the trade-off for a building with this kind of historic character.

We were upgraded to a room with a walk-in shower and while it was beautiful, it was a little inconvenient - the bathroom is so large that it was a bit drafty while showering.

The rooms were clean and quiet. We had a good sleep! Heating and cooling were efficient.

The hotel staff are eager to please. We received top-notch service and the hotel breakfast was delicious!
