Clean up to date

Cons:

Very unsecure. Very unsafe with transients roaming parking lot. Very few cameras, targeted by criminals because the very high nightly rate attracts clientele with nice vehicles. Our truck box was broken into and many expensive items stolen. Has a reputation for theft. For $180 a night this location should have 24 hr security on the property. The locals everywhere we met claim this location has an epidemic of theft. Staff do not seem concerned. We will reconsider staying at this location until there is security on site monitoring the property.

It was a great stay for the location in taft.
Pros:

It was very clean. The bed was comfortable. The staff was supper attentive and nice. Loved you can open the window to get fresh air.

Cons:

The tv remote was a drag. Having to go through all the channels just to find something decent. Didn't have a guide option on remote to just go straight to a channel. The showers water pressure was super low. Was annoyed it took a while to just shower.

Best place to stay in Taft, especially for families of students at TC.
Pros:

Clean, updated in recent years, best facility in Taft.

Cons:

Other guests which didn’t respect non-smoking rules. Staff did all they could, Thank You!

STAY HERE!!!! I wish all hotels were this hospitable!
Pros:

We were down for my mom's memorial. Taft has definitely seen brighter days but this hotel is a bright light in a dreary town. First the staff was nothing but amazing! They allowed us to host my mom's lunch in the breakfast area after her memorial. It was raining SSSSSOOOOO hard that this was such a blessing. They were so accommodating and really made it a great place for us all to get together. The hotel is in a nice area, very clean and great parking. The price was good, breakfast was good and the rooms have super tall ceilings which gives it a larger feel.

Cons:

To be honest I cannot think of one thing.
