Hilton haikou, not up to scratch
Pros:

Location was good.

Cons:

You have to change lifts and go around the building everytime you want to come or go. Carpet in the room was so stained it looked like a crime scene, and was so thread bare that we kept pricking our feet on the gripper rods poking through. It had an expensive high tech toilet but it didn't work for any of the features, and would automatically close the lid halfway through your business. This probably was a high end hotel a few years ago, but now it's showing signs of needing maintenance. Breakfast was plentiful but never varied from the same options, of which the western items were limited.

Big but old. Staff could be more helpful
Pros:

The king studio was big and had a nice view of the city.

Cons:

The concierge was not helpful when we asked about a parcel delivery, and just directed us to the delivery shelf without checking the chat I had with the hotel.

Rooms were dated and the carboards in the kitchen were cracked in places.

Расположен в центре. Рядом, минут 10 пешком, небольшой пляж с морем. Также в 10 минутах пешком, но в другую сторону, несколько ТЦ.
Отель отлично выглядит: мебель, дизайн, интерьер, виды.
Дружелюбный персонал, все улыбчивый, приветливые. Стремятся помочь.
Разнообразный завтрак: шведский стол. Есть разные кухни, в т.ч. европкйская, американская.
На территории отеля есть большой крытый бассейн, спа, фитнес, рестораны, бары. Возможно, что-то еще, что мы не увидели

Catch Me at My Best Nomination: Amy Lv (Front Office)
Pros:

I want to recognize Amy Lv from the Front Office for delivering truly exceptional, "extra-mile" service during our stay at Hilton Haikou. I was traveling with my wife and father-in-law, and Amy’s warmth and efficiency made an immediate impression.
Amy communicated beautifully, speaking in Chinese with my wife and effortlessly switching to English to explain everything clearly to me. Her efficiency was incredible. When we faced a checkout issue with our previous hotel, Amy stepped in, knew exactly who to call, and resolved it instantly. Even listening to her in Chinese, I could tell how sharp and precise she was—no wasted words, just pure, effective action.
She also took perfect care of our luggage, check-in formalities, and specific room preferences. While the entire team at Hilton Haikou is always remarkably friendly, Amy’s attitude was a level above. Her service was absolutely outstanding.
Thank you, Amy, for making our family feel so welcome and well cared for!

Pros:

What a stunning hotel and the breakfast offering was outstanding. The room was beautifully decorated and appointed (stand alone bath and sea view). I would recommend to anyone.

Cons:

All the hotel guest rooms are on high floors as there are residential apartments on the lower floors. We loved being high but if you don't, this may not be a good choice for you.

必须给这家酒店打5分！从进门开始就感受到了宾至如归。
Pros:

1. 服务： 前台小姐姐非常专业，看我带着行李主动帮忙提。退房时还贴心询问是否需要矿泉水路上喝。
2. 卫生： 房间打扫得一尘不染，床品有阳光的味道，卫生间也没有任何水渍或异味。
3. 设施： 床垫软硬适中，淋浴出水快，水温稳定。
4. 早餐： 海南特色很多，每一道都很精致，特别是现煮的粉/面，味道很棒。
总结： 无论是出差还是旅游，这家都是首选。强烈推荐！
