Incredibly welcoming and warm people in the beautiful Hoi An!
Pros:

The accommodation has a beautiful setting, we stayed in a room on the second floor with a balcony and a view to the river. The room is comfortable with lovely wooden furniture. AC and a fan provide for an incredibly comfortable stay. But the best thing of all was the lovely hospitality from Sarah and Flowers herself (the owner), their English is great and they looked after us with such care, provided many options for activities to do within the day, liaised and organised taxis/ trips/ and anything we would request. We only ate one meal at the restaurant on site - it was affordable and very tasty, and as a vegetarian (who many times in Vietnam have accidentally ordered meat) it was lovely to have a full vegetarian traditional Vietnamese hoi an menu to choose from. A wonderful stay - we would highly recommend!

Nous avons séjourné moi et ma copine 5 nuits dans ce charmant hôtel.

Les dames de l’accueil sont très à l’écoute et souriante. Nous nous somme sentie très bien accueilli dès notre arrivée. Elles prennent le temps de répondre à nos demandes et se soucient du bien être de leur client.

L’établissement est très propre et dispose d’une grande piscine ouverte 24/24h avec un service restaurant.

De plus, en quittant l’hôtel moi et mon amie avions oublié des affaires dans la chambre. Nous étions déjà partie pour Ho Chi Min quand elles nous l’on signalé. Le lendemain matin, elles ont fait parvenir un colis contenant nos affaires à la réception de notre nouvelle hôtel, sans rien réclamer en retour.

Je recommande très fortement cet hôtel et suis vraiment heureuse d’avoir choisis et séjourner la bas !

Perfect for longer stays and with families
Pros:

We stayed at The Calm House in Hoi An for four weeks, and by the time we left, it truly felt like we were saying goodbye to a second home.

Our room was spacious, comfortable, and always beautifully clean, with the most peaceful view over the river. We loved looking outside and watching the fishing boats pass by and the water buffalo in the distance. It was such a special way to experience a quieter, more authentic side of Hoi An.

The location was perfect for us. It is away from the busy crowds and tourist areas, so you can really relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings, while still having easy access to everything Hoi An has to offer.

But what made our stay truly unforgettable was Flower, the manager, and her wonderful staff. From the beginning, they welcomed us with so much warmth and kindness that we quickly felt like part of their family. Flower helped us with all of our bookings, answered our questions, and was always there whenever we needed anything. After four weeks, it didn't feel like we were simply leaving a hotel — it felt like we were leaving people we had genuinely grown close to. We were truly sad to say goodbye.

We have such wonderful memories of our time at The Calm House and would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting Hoi An. Especially if you are planning a longer stay, this is a wonderful place to slow down, feel at home, and experience a different side of Hoi An.

Thank you, Flower and everyone at The Calm House, for making our four weeks so special. ❤️ We hope we can come back one day!

The rooms and facilities were great and comfortable. The host was also really helpful and very nice to us throughout. The location is a bit away from the old town but is walkable or they rent cycles. The place is overall really good

Tout! L’emplacement est parfait car il est à la fois proche du centre historique mais assez éloigné pour être au calme. La vue sur le fleuve est magnifique. Les gérantes sont adorables et hyper compétentes! Le lit est confortable et propre. La maison est très jolie dans l’esprit familial vietnamien <3 ça a été un très beau séjour. Merci!
