A bit cramped but perfect location for the station
Pros:

Great location if you are arriving by train

Cons:

The bathroom was rather cramped. One could only really fit one person in it at a time.

Cons:

I stayed a couple of days but they did not fill some used up toiletries. Also, due to its location, you would get to hear the outside noises most of the time.

Pros:

Geräumiges, ruhiges Zimmer mit ausreichend Platz für zwei Koffer und passenden Ablagen.
Das Frühstück war gut, ausreichend und hat geschmeckt.
Auch das Personal war top und freundlich.

Pretty uneventful. In spite of the area and construction nearby, it’s a quiet hotel.
Pros:

The proximity of the hotel to the Hauptbahnhof is very useful. It’s also a 15-20 minute walk to the heart of the city center. Staff are very nice and accommodating.

Cons:

The area immediately south of the hotel can feel a little seedy at night. 2 blocks east (on the way to Karlstor) can get a little weird, due to a vacated department store building that is a homeless hangout.

The single elevator for the whole hotel can be a bottleneck, as it’s used by cleaning staff, as well.
