Great location, friendly staff and good breakfast.
Pros:

The location was great, close to the hospital.

Cons:

The carpet in our room is wearing down from the tile to carpet transition. I did stab my foot with the exposed carpet nails.

There were no key cards to get into the rooms. The staff at the front desk had to walk every person to there rooms everytime we needed to get into our room. The sign upfront stated a part had been ordered to fix this. We stayed at this hotel at the beginning of September and it had the same issue. Not sure if a part had really been ordered or not due to this being like this for over a month. Who knows how long it has been like this. Ridiculous! Since this is the only decent hotel in Lovington, this should be a priority to get fixed. Also should be advertised prior to someone making a reservation. We could have stayed in Hobbs if we would have known.

The main card reader was broken, staff advised to leave door propped open and if it closed they would come open it. First room smelled like smoke and second ac was broken. No discount for the inconveniences.

Overall it was a pretty good stay.

Cons:

The TV stand dresser drawer was open when we checked in and would not stay closed.It was inconvenient to have to keep closing it.The parking spot are to close together had hard time getting out when parked between two other vehicles.
