Pros:

Extremely friendly, kind, helpful staff

Beautiful room, great location.

Cons:

The room smells of cigarette smoke, especially if you turn the air unit on. They allow guests to smoke cigarettes there and that is a bad thing!!! it ruins it for those that do not smoke cigarettes. You Must require a $100 deposit that is only received back by the guest after the room has been inspected, and does not smell like cigarette smoke after the guest leaves. That is the ONLY solution to this problem.
Also there is almost no sound insulation from the street noise, from people partying below at the restaurants, or getting in and out of the taxis…
$45 is way too much to pay on a Thursday for all of this.
Even the bed reeked of cigarette smoke :(

Pros:

Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das unglaublich freundliche und respektvolle Personal. Egal zu welcher Uhrzeit, sogar um Mitternacht wurde uns bei einem Problem sofort geholfen, und das innerhalb von nur zehn Minuten. So einen Service erlebt man wirklich selten.

Der Standort des Hotels ist ideal für alle, die zum ersten Mal in Istanbul sind, da man viele Orte gut erreichen kann. Außerdem fanden wir es super, dass man die Mitarbeiter rund um die Uhr (24/7) per WhatsApp kontaktieren kann, das gibt einem ein sehr gutes Gefühl von Sicherheit und Service.

Insgesamt würden wir das Hotel besonders jüngeren Reisenden. Ideal für paar Tage!

Staff were no where to be seen, we had to chase them and find them.
Pros:

It was close to Taksim Square and Istiklal Street. The place was generally clean.

Cons:

When we first arrived there was no-one there to check us in, we were waiting for ages, until I finally had to got to a neighbouring hotel. The worker was at a nearby spot socialising. Then we had communication issues because the worker didn’t speak English.
The following day we were told we would be upgraded for a price of 20 euros but the gentleman who told us that was not to be seen again.
On the last night we were disturbed at 2am with someone banging on a door above our room because apparently the people staying had locked their card in the room (we had to get up 3 hours later to catch a flight) my baby was disturbed who was fast asleep. Unfortunately, as we were leaving there was no one at the reception to check us out and we didn’t get a real apology at all about the night before.

La camera è spaziosa e ben pulita e riordinata giornalmente, letti comodissimi. La posizione è ottima, tuttavia raggiungibile dall'auto solo fino a un certo punto. Lo staff è molto gradevole, soprattutto la signora, hanno risolto con facilità alcune richieste. Eccezionale il rapporto qualità/prezzo. Un po' viva la notte ma da prevedere vista la zona.

Cons:

Nel mio caso non è stato un problema ma le scale sono parecchie e strette. Alcune migliorie a cui provvedere come la colazione dal menù "obbligato". Inaccettabile il wifi in camera spesso debole o persino assente.

Avoid This Hotel – Especially if Traveling with Family

Cons:

This hotel was an absolute nightmare and completely unsuitable for families.
I was traveling with my family, including two children and my wife who had a dislocated knee. While booking, I missed to notice that the hotel has no lift. The hotel only has steep, curved stairs, which made it extremely difficult and unsafe for my wife to access the room. I informed the hotel immediately at check-in and showed proof of her medical condition, but they simply stated that the booking was non-refundable.
The room was old and poorly maintained, and the open bathroom—with only a curtain and one side fully exposed—was completely unacceptable. My children could not use the bathroom or shower with any privacy.
We were forced to vacate early and requested a refund for the unused nights. Despite contacting Booking.com the same night and multiple times afterward, there was no response or support whatsoever. The hotel also refused any refund despite medical evidence.
One of the worst hotel stays I have ever experienced and easily my worst experience with Booking.com.
Strongly not recommended, especially for families or guests with mobility issues.

Séjour d'une nuit à l'hôtel Taksim YAZICI. Accueillis par Metehan un jeune homme serviable, intuitif et réactif que je remerci fortement 🥰 L'hôtel est super bien situé, au pieds de l'avenue Istkal près des grandes boutiques(Zara, Mango, Gratis...), de fast-foods et de restaurants plus cosy dans des petites ruelles, parfait pour se promener jusqu'à la tourde Galata.On peut croiser des petits artisans plein de charme. Je recommande cet hôtel plein de charme peut convenir pour les couples entre copines...j'ai aime l'ambiance l'art déco de la chambre propriété cela va de soi! Service impeccable multiples serviettes, ptit échantillons, dosette de café, thé petit coin canape, une porte fenêtre qui s'ouvre sur un escalier de secours typiquement New Yorkais. j'adore...cerise sur le gâteau un rooftop vue sur la mer ( le Bosphore d'Istanbul). grâce à cette localisation, il peut que convenir à énormément de monde : on peut faire les boutiques, manger, balades romantique et s'amuser jusqu'à l'aube bars et boîte de nuit. C'est un lieu pour tous et tout faire!
