Excellent location with direct beach access next to a lifeguard stand! Loved the washer/dryer in the carport so that towels could go directly in the wash from the beach instead of into the condo first. The kitchen was well stocked with necessary utensils, pots and pans, etc...The bathrooms had plenty of towels. I also appreciated that the office gave us a page to write down any "non emergency" that needed to be fixed in the condo to turn in when we left. Just seemed very forward-thinking of the property management.
We didn't have any major complaints. Access to some folding chairs, floats, or boogie boards for the beach would have been an added bonus that you sometimes find in beach condos since they are difficult for travelers to bring with them from afar.
The property was nice. The beach was close and the facilities were clean
The pool door was a little tricky to access but the staff was kind and helped us out
The staff was very friendly at check in
The water took forever to drain in the shower
Loved the close access to to the private beach.
You have to buy extra trash bags and toilet paper, paper towels etc, not enough are provided. And I didn’t like how we had to strip the beds and sheets before we left. I’m on vacation I was surprised I had to do that. Also it definitely is in need of some renovations on the rooms
Staff was friendly, loved the views (we got a balcony view room) with the sound and pier, lots of kitchen amenities, very nice layout with private rooms but lots of stairs.
We loved the pool room and hot tub when it was open!
Wonderful playground for the kids and game/gym room.
Absolutely loved the location and beautiful shaded, wooded walk to the ocean which was only like 3 mins from our condo.
They offered a duck hunt for a chance to win a free weeks stay, but they weren't in the office that morning (even though it was a week day) to return them and did not answer the phone either.
There were dead cockroaches (or water bugs- you be the judge, I included a photo) when we first came in on the carpet. Seems like it's never vacuumed, especially around the edges and around furniture. The first night around midnight, they started coming out on the walls around the master bedroom closet and I killed 4 that one night. We didn't sleep in that room the whole rest of the time, we also saw some in the 2nd bedroom with 2 beds so our kids also couldn't sleep in there. We all slept on the couches (one turns into an uncomfortable bed) to avoid all of the bugs.
The pool had a lock on it and the combination was given to us but wouldn't open, after telling the staff, they unlocked it for the day and the rest of our stay, there were work trucks there and we were unable to use it. Definitely feel like we were mislead on the property since the pool was unavailable for all but 2 hours of our 4 day stay, was supposed to be open from 9am-dark daily.
Also, the 2nd floor balcony sliding doors had a wooden block to keep it closed and seemed like it was going to fall when opened and was so dirty you could barely see out of it.
We were also double charged the first day and had to ask for a refund.
We were a walk away from the beach. I could hear the waves from my bedroom. Indoor pool was a bonus with the chilly weather.
A bit dark inside.
The property was very well positioned. It was great to easily walk through to the beach and the tennis court was especially fun for us. The beds were comfy enough and the unit was spacious.
There were issues with dead bugs throughout the unit. Hot water ran out in shower. The couch was the most uncomfortable couch I have ever sat on. Coffee was provided but was extremely low quality. Guests are tasked with many clean-up tasks like taking out the trash, washing dishes, and stripping beds. Since check in/out is not so generous, it seemed contradictory that these tasks would be handled by the guests and not the property.
What an amazing place! We would definitely stay here again. We were with two kids and we had such a fun time. The beach is very close to the units. The unit was big, very clean. We had everything we needed for our stay, utensils, the grounds well maintained, front desk and stuff were very helpful and friendly. The playground is new and was close to our unit. There is bbq grill to every unit. There is also laundry. The game room had many options to offer for kids.
Great quiet place to stay with exceptionally wonderful staff. Plenty of room in the unit we stayed in. The facilities were also easily accessible. The staff took great care of us and were wonderful to my family.
Musty smell. Great access to the beach.
