No attention to details, towels lying around at the lobby, empty bottles at beach access path.

部屋の真ん前が白い砂浜で絶景。海亀の孵化も見れました。食事も品数が多く最高ですが、ドリンクの種類が少ないです。
宿泊費と部屋・食事がまったく釣り合っていない。半額でもおかしくないレベル。今時これほど企業努力が不足しているホテルは珍しい。ホテルと言っているが実質その辺の民宿と何ら変わらない。ロケーションがすべてで、それ以外のレベルが低すぎた。期待していただけに本当に残念。
Located directly on a beach, the hotel is efficient, simple and welcoming. The room was comfortable and clean. Evening menus and breakfast were excellent.

This part of Yakushima is pretty empty. Do your research first!! Bring food. And most restaurants in the area are cash only. Overall beautiful location with a nice private beach!
THe location by the beach is awesome and the meals we had, were outstanding. The ladies were sweet and managed to communicate well enough.
The property looked like it had seen better times. The bed was comfortable but the comforter was not. I was expecting a bit more for the price.

Location right next to beach with view from room. Quiet area.
I would have appreciated instructions in English about how to operate heating/air conditioning unit. It would have been helpful to have information about the nearest restaurants/cafes. We missed the hotel turnoff at night so better signage would have been helpful.
The food was really imcredible - so many delicious Japanese dishes for dinner and breakfast. Only 4 guest room and each looks out onto the sea. Staff were superb especially the 81 year old working manager who is so sweet! No one speaks English there although our group speak Japanese. We used this as a base to do the 30KM Jomon Sugi (cedar) hike to one of the world's oldest trees - some 7000 years old. Tough hike in light rain and slippery in places but well worth it.

The majority of the rooms are beachfront/beach view. Great, ultra-modern shower & toilet. Good location on perimeter road; quiet (except for the surf)! Pleasant staff. Remote controlled window blind. Refrigerator. WiFi. A comfortable mix of up-to-date and traditional. Room (double with two beds) is on the small side as far as dealing with suitcases, etc., but not impossible
Marine Blue is not easy to see from the road. The road sign (at the parking lot) is in Japanese. (The sign doesn't say "Marine Blue" In English; the only English is "Turtle's Hometown.")
Manager wants to clean the room daily; we're used to skipping housekeeping to save water etc. We used the "do not disturb" sign.
