Everything was great—no complaints at all.

Aside from being on a hill, nothing really. The location is a 5-7 min walk to the ferry and 2 mins to Taksim square.

Being next to the reception area is very annoying, you wont feel comfertable to enjoy your night or sleep well. In addition, the room is not 100% clean there are some flys and incects and the building is dilapidated, and you might hear the sounds of bathroom pipes upstairs.

FINALLY I WOULDNT RENT IT AGAIN

When making our reservation, we specifically chose a room type because the property description clearly stated that all rooms featured a balcony. Upon arrival, after requesting an early check-in (subject to availability), we were placed in a different room with the explanation that the room we had booked was not yet ready.

When we asked to see the room we had originally reserved, we were given contradictory explanations and were eventually told that the room did not actually have a balcony, but only a window. This was completely inconsistent with the information provided in the listing.

We then discovered that the refrigerator in the room was defective. The door would not close properly, remained partially open at all times, had accumulated ice, and the appliance was overheating. We informed the staff, but no solution or alternative was offered.

The overall condition of the room was equally disappointing. The floors were dirty, and the windows were covered in fingerprints and smudges, giving the impression of poor housekeeping and lack of attention to detail.

As a result, we decided to leave the property altogether, as it bore little resemblance to what had been advertised. Despite this, no refund was offered.

As professionals working in the hospitality industry ourselves, we consider this property misleading in the way it presents its facilities and services. The photos create expectations that are simply not reflected in reality and, in our opinion, significantly misrepresent the actual condition of the accommodation.

We travel frequently and have been using booking platforms for many years, yet we have never felt the need to leave a negative review before. However, the gap between what was advertised and what we encountered was so significant that we feel obliged to share our experience with future travelers.
It is genuinely disappointing, because our experience fell far below expectations and we would not recommend this property.
