This hotel needs so much doing to it. From the shabby room with dirty bathrooms. We booked for two nights and stayed for one and have requested money back for at least the second night. It is such a pity as in years gone by this as rather a nice hotel, clean and well run. Even the food was better.
The location of the hotel is extraordinary. Beautiful views. We booked the hotel based on a review in The Telegraph. It is described there quite favourably as a small boutique hotel. Well. The hotel has potential, but it feels neglected. The rooms are rather small (we had the largest room category). It feels like a government run Indian hotel from late nineties.
The food was simple, but surprisingly good. The staff was helpful and pleasant (please, dress them a bit more stylish - it doesn't cost much). The new manager was very concerned about the well being of the guests. He admitted that a number of changes are required to make it a much more appealing place.
Again, the location (next door to the Anantara) is hard to beat. It could be a great place to explore the Jebel Akhdar region. Unfortunately, at this time we are reluctant to recommend it. A significant investment in upkeep of the property is necessary.
Fabulous room and stunning location. Unfortunately had a rough night due to the wind beating around the sunsail in front of the room.
Food was so, so.
belle vue
The staff was very friendly .. thanks to all especially Nana , Noura , Asha .. hope to see u again soon! The place was clean , food aswell .. not too crowdy nor noisy .. the wheather was also good around 25C
