Arrived to property where a few people where sat out the front drinking cans of cider staring at us as we went in. Had a shower after a long drive to have no hot water. Room was tiny, stains on the duvet, dont think they even had bed sheets on. They had clearly painted recently judging by the strong fumes of gloss, it looked like the whole room had been glossed by a blind person on drugs. We went out to explore the area for a few hours then came back with some fish and chips. We sat in the room for about 15 minutes, the fumes of gloss where so strong we couldnt eat and we both immediately felt unwell from this. We had the window open to let some air in despite people shouting outside. On top of that the family room was obviously above us so we had kids running around banging. We came for a relaxing weekend but clearly this wasnt going to be a relaxing if we stayed here so we decided we had to leave and booked alternative accommodation up the road. I spoke to the staff member when I gave the key back and explained the lack of hot water, noise and smell and asked if we could have a refund. She was polite and told me to request it through the booking app and she would inform the owner. When I did this though they completely ignored me! So I went through booking.com thinking I could get a result from this. But they also got ignored. I think this is highly unprofessional and they clearly do not care about their guests because they know they can get away with it with ignorance.

Dirty ,filthy windows ,ceiling falling in , the smell, the carpets but it was only £22 and near to everything

Hotel was easily located right next to all the attractions room was above and beyond for the 2 nights we stayed
Had everything you need and more for a budget getaway
People who run it are boss had a boss sleep room was quite and dark with the light of perfect for me shower wasn't massive but it went hot right next to the arcades and tram spot south pier is the quite part sound for us had a good time bedding was clean the pool table in the bar is free the owners are good people

Cleanliness smelled of wet dogs rooms were untidy noodles in the sink blood stains on cover shower was mouldy door handles missing

I liked nothing because ended up not staying,the toilet horrible,the bed was as if you are on a spring ,hmmmm have never seen a thing like that ,the surrounding was dirty
Had to make another booking to travel lodge that night .
As I said don’t like anything was thinking i would manage the three days holiday but could not spend even a night there , the bed was horrible was like am on a spring not mattress,the toilet was horrible as a lady you can’t imagine using it,had to book travel lodge that night they promised a refund but have not seen any will advice no one goes there .
