Service & professionalism of staff is very low. Need training to better match 5star expectation
Pros:

The Pullman Vung Tau is a modern, well-designed hotel with high ceilings and a spacious feel. The overall look is stylish and impressive. The location is also convenient — there’s a Lotte right across the street, and it’s only about a 5-minute walk to the beach (not beachfront, but still very close).A special shoutout to the security team and the doormen, who were proactive and genuinely helpful when assisting guests in and out of cars — a great first impression

Cons:

However, the experience is quite inconsistent. The front desk and service staff could really benefit from better training in attitude and professionalism. There was a noticeable lack of friendliness — rarely any smiles — and the service did not feel up to 5-star standards. This was especially evident during the breakfast buffet, where staff seemed disengaged and unmotivated.
As for the breakfast, it was disappointing. The food lacked flavor, the presentation was quite basic, and there was little sense of care or attention to detail from the kitchen. After staying 4 nights, it became increasingly difficult to find something enjoyable to eat — definitely below expectations.
On a positive note, the rooms are quite nice — clean, comfortable, and well-designed.
👉 Overall: great hardware, but service and F&B need significant improvement to truly match a 5-star experience.

Family visit
Pros:

I visited this hotel for 16 nights with my daughter whilst my husband is working in Vung Tau.
We booked executive room with executive suite access.
This hotel is worthy of 5 stars. The staff are exceptional and ensure that you have everything you need. Nothing is too much trouble.
Breakfast is amazing with lots of choice and items made fresh to order.
Special mention to pool staff Thang and Duong who went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. Thank you.
