Old building, you could hear people from the next room. Not fully facilities, for a couple weeks had just one towel and one coffee sachet

View was atrocious looked out onto 4 walls and dirty flat roof with rubbish thrown out on it

It’s old outdated. Windows don’t shut properly. Looks very tatty. Our friends room had poo on the floor.

Everything. On arrival the reception smelt like a Chinese restaurant and when I commented the women said said it was because guests put their takeaway rubbish in her bin. I accepted this until I realised that the reception is closed most of the day except for arrivals and departures. We were given our key and the room was on the first floor, the lift is out of order, I have mobility issues and hubby has a double hernia. So it was hard work to get our luggage up those steep narrow stairs with no offer of help. Our room smelt musty and on first glance the blind was down, so I went to pull it up and couldn't as the pully was broken off and on the widow ledge, there was no seal on the window so on windy days the blind banged against the window. There was paint missing off the walls, black stains on the carpet and under the table there was half inch of dust on the skirting boards. We booked a twin and moved a bed in order to put a very vintage bedside cabinet in between the two beds and there were crips and rubbish under the bed. There was no shaver point in the bathroom, there was mould around the shower seal. The toilet seat was hanging off. The bed sheets stunk just like a wet brolly and I had to sleep with a towel over my pillow and I sprayed some perfume on it. On the first night I slept in my clothes because I didn't want to get into the bed. I was worried there were bed bugs. We went to reception on our way out to ask for the blind and the toilet seat to be mended and I was then met with a load of excuses which carried on the the duration of the stay. There was a big for sale sign on the front of the hotel and on arrival the taxi driver asked if it was the right place because it looks like it was shut down. I'm far from a prideful person, but even I was embarrassed to be seen leaving and entering the premises. The 2 staff argued..

The building had a nasty damp/thusty smell to it. The mattresses was absolutely disgusting. Had we of checked before we slept in them we would not of slept in them. There was public hair and bits all over them and lots of blood and urine stains with no actual protector on the bed other then a thin sheet. There was minimal pillows and we had to use our clothes to create bigger pillows as was not sure where to ask as reception had shut. The room is very dated and not the cleanest - empty pack of crisps left in the bed side draw for a start. When asleep I woke early hours of the morning to the lights flickering, these was turned off at the wall but all 6 spot lights in the ceiling kept flashing making it very difficult and also worrying to sleep.

Dirty floor not vacuumed, dirty windows. Smelly bedding. Other people's hair stuck in bed linen.
Damp walls, damp smell like a basement. Cramped and almost unusable toilet and shower facilities. Carpet on communal hallways lifted torn worn and dirty. Steps collapsing and overall dump.

Dirty room ..lift didnt work put on top floor

Lift out of order since June. Did not tell customers with walking difficulties.
Do not book this hotel if you need the lift .

Just needed tlc

Very small room would benefit a spruce up foisty smell in stairs n landing

No hot water and I am disabled I at to walk up and down the stairs all the while because the lift was out of order
