Motel 6-Opelousas, LA

The door handle was broken, couldn’t close the door all the way. Had to go to front office to ask for towels as there were no towels at all when we checked in. We had to go buy our own towels! The water was not hot and was told “just let it run” mind you we had the water running an hour before calling up to front desk and it was still cold. We finally got hot water at 3:00-4:00am. The room was completely nasty, the pillow cases smelled like dirt and had dirt stains you could tell the bedding was not washed. The bedding was stained and had MOLD growing on all of the mattresses. We have a 5 month old baby staying with us, 2 5yr olds and a 3yr old.

The manager had a ugly attitude . Mrs Lisa . I spent the whole night running water because they said the water will eventually get cold . The water stayed cold the WHOLE NIGHT . As well she didn’t want to give me a refund . They even had ants

Tout est cassé dans ce motel....en fin de vie. Ne prennent même plus la peine de réparer les choses.

They had no towels! I had to go and buy me some towels from Walmart! And I seen a roach or 2! Also the pillows are very flat

No hot water no tv remote no blanket on bed.

Water didn't get hot and I reserved a king size room and I got two queen beds

I checked into motel 6 on 2/9 and I'm currently still here until tomorrow morning.

Staying here from FL after a death in the family

I've contacted motel 6 headquarters several times with no resolution instead just an apology.

Since my check in I've experienced a number of things that are unacceptable.

1st was dirty sheets pillowcases and towels 

2nd was maggots dried up in the trash can

And finally it's now 9am and they turned off the water for 2 full hours without any warning whatsoever.

They knew a plumber was coming in today to fix a leak and didn't warn any guests.

Last night they were giving out hand towels in place of towels because they were completely out.

This is ridiculous.

They don't even put shampoo in the bathrooms for guests.

The ice machine doesn't work so you have to go next door and pay more money for ice 

Keisha at FD is lazy and rude. She won't even stand up to make eye contact with guests or put her phone down because her texting is far more important than any guest.
She won't even make regular coffee when it runs out she tells guests the decaf is regular coffee.
Absolutely ridiculous.



And they sent an email excusing some of their bs because of covid. It's 2026. Covid was 6 years ago

The time I came the, cable was off, due to a storm and the water didn't get hot

First room tv didn’t work. Walls were dirty, curtains looked dry rotted, towels looked dirty, and just uncomfortable.

The water was cold had to take a shower in cold water

The bathroom door knob was broken n it took forever for the hot water to turn hot.

It should not be allowed to be open . The front end staff was rude and will not directly help in anyway . There rooms where nasty.. told the people we needed toilet paper and he goes into the next room where other guest were checking in and took theirs. (It was 1/4 roll at best) I would advise a night in your vehicle then recommend this place . All I can say is I did my part by sending out this and sharing the nastiness and total all around rudeness of this establishment.

I wasn't supplied with any towels. Well the room I was in didn't have any sm towels and I needed two more big towels. The lady at the front desk kept giving attitude. Not Jasmine , she was cool.
