Very friendly staff, we arrived at at 1:00 am and we were directed by a phone call where we were to take the key for our room despite the fact that we arrived earlier than our booked date.👏👏👏👏.
Just the little smell from the bathroom but it is managable when you lock the bathroom door.
The facility was difficult to get into first of all, no real check in instructions, no hot water, no air-conditioning, hard bedding, extremely uncomfortable.
Requested credit for early check out due to poor lodging overall.

It was terrible, smelly, very cold because the heating didn't work at all, the same thing with the shower, no hot water at all, not recommended to no one. This is beyond far from a German standard hotel.
Location was good.
Through no A/C, I could live with that. However, it went downhill from there. NO HOT WATER. Management said let the water run for 1 minute, after 60 minutes no difference. Called and emailed, no action taken. Wanted to turn the radiator on for heat at night. Radiator didn't work. Checked out after 1 night of 3 and was charged for all 3. Not acceptable after all the issues.
The location fit well to the Ansbach old-city (Altstadt) festival. All we really needed was a bed and that we did get. That was pretty much all. Towels were clean. Shower decent.
No reception. No on-site personnel. No restaurant. No amenities (coffee maker, refrigerator, no mini bar. Some lighting did not function. Entire building in great need of renovation. Beds hard. No dressers. No drawers. No lamps. Smoking area two chairs and a small table on an enclosed, metal roof. Exterior entryway filthy, filled with cigarette butts. No tub. No bathroom cabinetry. Hot water took five minutes and wasted a good deal of water.
The hotel was walking distance to all the places I needed to visit!

They were comprehensive about our situación since nobody received us for the check in. They accepted a reimbursement For that inconvenience. The place is close to main attractions and train station
Our early check in was confirmed but nobody stay there for us. With a baby was complicated and even we came back hours later the hotel was closed. The entry is not clear. Seems like a pub and no indications. Maybe will be usefull a pin or code or a key in case we need to access in Sunday

Brocken window in room, unpleasant receptionist who seat in hollway, dirty bedroom without soup and toalet papir, whole night I have heard some engine... Nightmare

Given all of the above, completely overpriced
Due to a price error from their side (yes the price was cheap but I had a confirmed booking) they asked me to cancel and told me they wouldn't let me in (at least up-front via phone). Therefore decided short notice as I didnt hear back from booking to change my travel route and not stay over night in Ansbach....
