Forra Diving Resort - Pattaya Beach - Koh Lipe

We were disappointed from the hotel because we would have expected a little higher standard for the price we paid.
The hotel has a beautiful location directly at the beach, with a dive school and Italian restaurant as part of it.
We booked the Family Bungalow, which was spacious but very basic. Very loud at night as the wooden wall are so thin you can hear everything outside - late nights from the neighbors and a restaurant directly next door from another hotel. Make sure you bring good ear buds and mosquito spray. The toilet did not have a flush and we had to manually flush it with a bucket of water and it was stinking. The room was also very dark with no air con but only two fans. We tried to contact the owners beforehand to book a dive but never got a response either. Overall wouldn’t stay again.

I liked the location of the place.My stay was good and the staff were always friendly and helpfully.

What a great place to stay. The people at the dive place and restaurant were just amazing. My brother and I fell just like family there. We love the simplicity and the down to earth living. So we can only recommend everyone to stay here for best location, beach, bar and all the people working for the dive or at Kioskino.. Amazing…

Hot night with frogs and mosqitos. Thanks to net those were not in the bed.

Basic bungalow, no frills. The bed was comfortable, firm but not hard. I like that they do not supply toilet paper but soap would have been good. There was not much room to spread out my stuff except on the floor. The area is quiet, the only noise coming from other guests coming in late and talking. As the bungalows have very thin walls, sound travels. I was not impressed by the restaurant. The staff were not very welcoming so I did not stay there for meals. It would have been nice if they were open for breakfast before my dive trip, especially as it is a dive resort. Overall, as a base for a couple of days it was fine but you don't get much for your money.

Stayed two nights. Small wooden cottage on beach front with mosquito net bed, shower towel, table fan, and standing tap water shower. No soap or shampoo provided. Ask front desk if need clean towel or bed sheet. About 10 minutes walk on beach to walking street, where there are many places to eat food. Lady on front desk was helpful in providing information.

Extremely dirty. We developed painful rashes just by sleeping in the beds. Had to checkout few days earlier, it was that bad.

Llegamos para pasar tres noches , la isla es para estar más días ( ya que nosotros pasamos 1 día entero y 1 por la mitad y luego de la tercera noche viajábamos para otra isla ) el lugar es muy lindo y tiene un restaurante italiano en la entrada con barra al lado de la playa, los bungaló son rústicos todo hecho con caña de bambú y si bien no tiene agua caliente , en la época que viajamos hacia calor asique no influyó en la calidad del hotel . Para tirar la cadena en el baño hay que usar un balde que está al lado del inodoro . La cama posee mosquitero para que puedas dormir tranquilo y tiene un ventilador de piso. Recomendable para pasar algunos días! Muy linda isla.

Perfect hut for the beach, spacious room, overall okay except for mosquitoes

Very cute small bungalow village on the Pattaya beach. But of course, as it is a bungalow, be prepared to meet some "wildlife" inside it, such as frogs and mosquitos. Short and nice walking distance via beach to the Koh Lipe Walking street. All in all, big recommendations for this place, it was a lovely experience !

I helhet var detta ett toppenställe precis på stranden! Okej, lite hårda madrasser och bara kallvatten i duschen men vad gör det när det är så varmt? Supermysig bungalow, kommer lätt bo här när jag kommer tillbaka till Koh Lipe för tredje gången

Mi è stato consegnato il bungalow ma non potevo immaginare cosa mi aspettasse. Il bungalow è infestato dalle zanzare come tutta l'area ed essendo vecchiotto e di bambu' è completamente fatiscente. I listelli di bambù non combaciano più pertanto oltre alle zanzare non si ha la minima privacy ed e nel mio pioveva dentro. Ho cercato di usare le prese elettriche per il vape e il ventilatore ma non funzionavano. Mi sono recato alla reception alle 19.30 e la responsabile era andata via. Ho lasciato la chiave perché il bungalow era invivibile e sono andato a dormire altrove. La mattina sono tornato e la responsabile mi diceva semplicemente che il costo delle 3 notti non era rimborsabile ed ha aggiunto che avrebbe parlato con il proprietario. Domani riparto e non ho saputo niente. Rapporto qualità prezzo uguale a zero
Allo prezzo di 25 euro a notte ..10 in meno..ho trovato nelle vicinanze un bungalow in muratura senza zanzare e con le prese elettriche perfettamente funzionante.
State alla larga!!..se volete, provate ma badare alla clausola " non rimborsabile"

Spacious room...near to the beach...worth for the money..

Nice bamboo huts just a few seconds from Pattaya Beach. The huts were clean and mosquito nets were in good shape. We had booked 6 nights but ended up staying 4 more because we loved the island so much. Staff was nice and good with our kids. I would recommend staying there if you are interested in a bungalow experience, but not if you are looking for a resort. The kids loved the open air shower and all of our animal and bug guests; the walls are made of bamboo so you hear everything happening outside your room and in the rooms around you. Great for listening to crickets and frogs and the morning prep in the restaurant next door. Several good restaurants on the beach between Forra and the walking street. We would stay here again for sure.

Such a beautiful room - a bungalow with bamboo and with a helper staff which is we borrow water heater and the next morning we return it.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 3nights and enjoyed our stay.
The buildings are Thai style, wooden/bamboo huts raised off the ground.
The rooms were spacious, bed was comfy and the bathroom/shower area was different and nice.
Staff were all very friendly and helpful.
They also provide scuba diving/snorkelling trips.
