The room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly.
We only had 1 towel in our room and no wash cloths. We traveled for my daughter surgery so these items were important. The desk chair in the room was broken and unusable.

The dust covering the a/c unit was concerning and the pool floor was VERY slippery when wet- I watched a lot of kids that were walking carefully fall. Mine even hit her head. Breakfast had gnats flying around, but my biggest complaint is the housekeeping. We stayed for a week and has NO housekeeping services, even with multiple requests made. I had to get towels, trash bags, toilet paper, everything for myself from the front desk. After multiple requests with no one showing up, I spoke with a manager. He assured me it would be handled and that he would follow up with me to ensure I was satisfied with solution. It's been 3 weeks and I have heard NOTHING, even after reaching out for an update.

When we checked in, we were given a room on the first floor. Honestly, I was shocked at how dirty the room was! The carpet was dirty, covered in something, and there were empty bottles from the previous tenants and dirt under the bed! The bed was yellow. The pillows were yellow, the blanket was stale and smelled terrible. When I asked to change rooms, they said there were no available ones, and when I asked to have them cleaned, she said she'd submit a request and not until the next day. I wish I'd booked the Marriott; it was a bit more expensive, but my friends loved it! And the breakfast was honestly awful: the omelette tasted like nothing, and the sausages they serve every day are leftovers. There are also ants in the room! They don't take out the trash, I had to take it out myself.
Very clean and inviting. Reserved a king room ADA compliant. Recieved both. Room was clean and comfortable. Although we were there just for 1 night. We will stay here again when in Morgantown wv.
Average offerings
The room I requested was originally given keys to was not cleaned and didn’t have linens on the bed…it wasn’t ready at/after the 3:00 pm check-in time. I wanted a room with a tub but there was no way to plug the tub up.
The carpet in our room was very dirty. I spilled water and when cleaning it up, the towel was black.
Steam cleaning would help. I realize that allowing dogs would probably create some dirty carpet, but it should be steam cleaned periodically.
We stayed in a LaQuinta hotel in May in Arizona. It was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The one in Morgantown was dirty. The lobby and elevator were dirty - footprints, sticky stuff, a towel on the floor of the elevator. Our room was so-so. The comforter between the white linens seemed dirty so we took it off. The bathroom was dirty and the shower door opened out with no catch gutter on the bottom for water so when you stepped out of the shower the floor was soaked from the door. My business colleague said her bathroom was so dirty that she didn't want to take a shower. Overall, we would never stay there again.

PRO: Free breakfast and parking, plus 24-hour coffee.
CON: Breakfast included rotten fruit, and the room needed more thorough cleaning. The TV and base were dusty, the mirror and window were smudged, and there was buildup around the faucet and shower edges. The toilet bowl was stained and needed brushing, and the area under the open vanity was unpleasant. The sink faucet was also positioned too close to the edge, making handwashing awkward. Overall, the experience was frustrating enough to motivate me—someone who rarely writes reviews—to leave one.
