did not receive suite was given room with double beds which is a downgrade. They said sence I use a thrid party booking they will not refund my money.

Not a "real" handicapped accessible room
Pros:

I used the Fairfield Inn Pasadena for 3 nights while my home interior was being painted. I walk with a walker and asked for a handicapped room. The room was spacious enough and had a walk in shower. However, the commode was very low with standard height grab bar. It was impossible for me to get up from the toilet. My family brought me a bedside commode stand to sit over the commode so I could get up easily. There was no recliner or side chair in the room. I had to lay/sit on the bed for 3 days-very uncomfortable. Yes, we did ask for a chair for the room but was told none were available. The room was very quiet and clean. The full service breakfast was nice with nothing lacking. I recommend a handicap height commode and a recliner for the room to fulfill the identification of a truly "handicapped accessible room." Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Cons:

We stayed here before, but this time it was very different. The bed were very uncomfortable. One of the mattresses was uneven like someone broke it and the pillows were uncomfortable too. The elevator didn't work, but there was no discount on our stay. The room smelled like something was sprayed to mask cigarette smoke.

OK for A Basic No Frills
Pros:

This is a very basic budget type hotel (although I would not call the price budget). It was very clean. The bed was comfortable. The rooms don't offer much in the way of decor or comfort. Just a desk chair. But it was OK, for what it is.
