Väldigt prisvärt!
Pros:

Extremt hjälpsam familj som äger hotellet. De lagar frukost och kan hjälpa till med alla möjliga resor, safaris i Sri Lanka.
Enda nackdelen var att varmvattnet ej ännu var installerat. Dock inget problem tack vare vädret under vår vistelse.

Old but nice
Pros:

I was the sole guest as we are out of season. Only staff on hand was the owner and his wife. Beautiful garden surrounding the Villa.200 - 300 rupee tuk-tuk to downtown. Room was comfy and clean if somewhat dated. The owner's are welcoming the breakfast generous.

No sleep!
Pros:

This is clean and pleasant accommodation, but next to a very busy road. My room was just by the road and I couldn't sleep at all! Breakfast was good and well priced. My advice is: never stay on the uneven numbers side, away from the sea.

Pros:

Hotellet var fint och stort! Men vi hörde knappt av de som jobbade där. De står att receptionen är öppen 24/7 men det stämmer inte. Personalen är svår att hitta och du får mest överleva själv. Läget var inte det bästa, 2km gång till alla barer och restauranger.

Cosy guest house
Pros:

Small guesthouse a short walk away from the beach front. It is located 15 min walk from the train station and local center, and on a quiet part of the beach. The room is a bit noisy, as you need to cross the main road to get to the beach, but apart from that everything you can expect from a budget option. The owners are very friendly and helpful

Helt klart verdt pengene. Perfekt for backpacking. Frokost inkludert og gratis Wifi. Rett ved surfeenden av stranda. Nærhet til Hikkaduwa sentrum og roligere svømmeforhold i lagune.

Reasonably priced, comfortable accommodation.
Pros:

We spent a comfortable few days here. It's a bit out of town but a tuk tuk is easy to find and cheap. The family are all very helpful and pleasant..

Pros:

Så mysigt hus, låg precis vid stora vägen så var lätt att ta sig till. Runt kl 11 började man märka av trafiken men det störde inte alls. Jättetrevliga människor som drev gästhuset.

Nydelig plass å være!
Pros:

Dette gjestehuset ligger litt utenfor den masete kjernen av Hikkaduwa (heldigvis!), bare en spasertur på ca 15 min, eller 2 min i Tuk Tuk. Her er det helt stille på stranden, og det ligger en nudelig liten kafe like nedenfor, med deilig hjemmelaget Ingefærøl!
Servicen er utrolig bra her, vi ble kjørt rundt på sights i Hikkaduwa en halv dag av sønnen i huset, samt han kjørte oss videre der vi skulle etter utskjekk. Hans mor lager frokost hver dag, og er alltid smilende! Virkelig en avslappende plass å være, samtidig som Hikkaduwas mas ligger like bort i veien! Anbefales på det sterkeste!
