Baba House Phuket Hotel

Baba House was very clean, quiet and the pool was great. We stayed here as part of our honeymoon and they made towel swans for on the bed when we checked in and put rose petals around them and in the bathroom! It was adorable. Bed and pillows were comfortable, AC was awesome, everything was great. Had a lovely stay.

Bra hotell för ett billigt pris, var lite smutsigt i något hörn på rummet men det var okej för det billiga priset vi fick betala. Kan rekommendera detta hotell! Solstolarna var lediga hela tiden och bra plats där solen lös igenom.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It is located in a quiet neighborhood, approximately 10 minutes of driving from he phuket old town or phuket central shppoing mall.
The pool was really nice and clean. It was often completely empty and we had the whole facility to ourselves. We enjoyed the breathtaking views and the birds singing while we were swimming.
Cons:
1. The furniture was a bit old.
2. The neighborhood is not suitable for someone who is seeking a partying experience. But if you are okay with taking bolt and grab rides to touristic destinations, it will suit you well.

We hebben een fijn verblijf gehad. Het hotel is goed als je de prijs-kwaliteitverhouding bekijkt. We zijn er 2 weken geweest en wat opviel is dat je wel echt de kamers aan het zwembad moet boeken wil je een fijn verblijf hebben. Er zijn bij het zwembad geen parasols of toilet. Ondanks dat er elke dag werd schoongemaakt, werd dit niet erg grondig gedaan. De gym is aanwezig, maar geen airco. De locatie is geweldig als je van rust houd. Je kan met de taxi overal naartoe en er zijn een paar restaurantjes in de straat. Maar ook via Grab is kan je van alles laten bezorgen. Als je van drukte houdt dan moet je ergens anders verblijven. Al met al een prima verblijf. Trouwens geen haardroger beschikbaar, mocht je die nodig hebben moet je die zelf meenemen.

Baba House is an excellent location for guests to access Jonker street and other central sites in Melaka.

I'm honestly quite disappointed at a few things. I found some front office/reception staff not very welcoming. I recommend management train them to smile more and when it is not peak, at night, for example to say good evening or at least acknowledge guests. At low peak hour walkabout vs sitting on the reception stool, say hello.

We stayed in a room for 3 and it was so spacious. We wondered why the hotel doesn't add a couch or a small seating space. There was more floor space than comfort. Do something so you can charge more for the room vs leaving so much space for guests to do cartwheels in?

While I respect that weekends are peak hour. Prepare. We had to ask housekeeping to clean our room when we returned at 4pm. When we ask for water, it was not sent to us. When we asked for water at the hall from housekeeping they said they cannot give more out. The weather is so hot, come up with a solution to give guests water. This isn't acceptable.

Management may want to look into the smell perhaps coming from sewage or drain. It is quite strong at the lobby and on our level during the day.

Checkout was efficient and we appreciate the complimentary drinks.

Having said that, staff at the guest parking area, restaurant and housekeeping are friendly and take the time to smile and acknowledge guests. Thank goodness for that, we are afterall on a holiday.

I think it’s very nice hotel, everything is so clean, room inside also modern, so I recommend everyone come to enjoy and stay here 😊 Especially, this times I come with my boyfriend, so I think it’s nice to stay here, it’s so sweet ❤️

1500 baht for a twin room for two nights is unbelievable value. Great pool and very nice staff. Not much within walking distance is a shame but thats the only fault. Pool is amazing and rooms are nice.

너무 좋은곳이였지만, 칫솔치약 없구요.
그리고 타월도 세개인데 하나는 기본사이즈
바닥에 깔아놓을거 하나, 두개는 샤워타올
이렇게 밖에 주질 않아요.
더 달라고 했더니 그게 끝이래요.
그게 좀 불편했어요.
그거 빼고는 다 좋았어요.
하지만 남자친구랑 헤어진곳이라서
마냥 슬프네요

I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights and was very impressed by the swim up pools attached to the rooms, made the hotel a little more significant, the views from the rooms are off the mountains which make the sunsets lovely from the rooms. Great location very close to the night markets that are very popular in Phuket. Would stay again if needed.

Travelled with my husband and two daughters. At first, I had doubt about its location since it locates around 5 km out of town ( we rent a car anyway). It turned out to be one of my luckiest decision ever made. Big room, huge pool, decent breakfast. Very quiet and comfort beds.
Owner really cared and voiced put about neighborhood.

Strongly recommend!

we had a great time staying in this baba hotel the owner wasvery accomodating and given us an idea of where to go and tour packages to explore the islands in phuket with a affordable price, the place is big ,beatand good for group and family staycation few minutes away from central phuket where you can walk around and enjoy the night life

Good hotel and staff. Private access at swimming pool best, small hotel but its better !!!
The silent and environment cool. A little less for breackfast because they do not have any pastries. Emplacement is good for excursions, for go to pathong the night you do rent a bike and it's perfect. Markets and burger king just near !!! Bed is very very good.

GoAir operate daily flight from Mumbai to Phuket (spell Poo-KET). Grab this chance to fly from Mumbai and got this hotel on biz trip.

The hotel is located in town (I would call outskirt of Town). We didn't have much expectation of this hotel since we are on biz trip that we need to commute to Central Mall and King Power. The hotel was just too good for the price. HUGE room. There even have 3, 4 bed rooms for family (but I just traveled with my colleage). The bed was 5 stars.

Long pool, breakfast was a bit less selection but enough for to grab and go.

Service was very good compared to the limitation resource they have.

You need to rent a car or a bike if you stay in this hotel (or any hotel in Phuket) because taxi in this island is so costly.
