That it was not named right on Google maps. When you type in mecure takes you to the grand mecure instead.

Good & Affordable Stay for Leisure or Work
Pros:

Location: Excellent. The hotel is conveniently located near the train station in Solo. There is an Indomart near the hotel, which is a few meters away. I enjoyed going for a morning walk around the hotel and also at the terrace garden area on the fifth floor
Service: Good! The receptionist spoke good English. Outdoor foods are allowed. The bellboys are very respectful and polite—very quiet hotel.
Cleanliness & Hygiene: Overall good. The room and common areas were well-maintained. I walked to the hotel area, and it's really well kept
Room & Amenities: The bed was comfortable, and there was a power socket near the table and bed, which was convenient. WIFI connection is good inside the room
Water Pressure: Good and consistent.
Breakfast: Simple and nice selection. All local Indonesian cuisine selection. Pasta and noodles were available too.

Pros:

Not really a good experience staying at the hotel. Started with not getting the room based on the reservation. They said that one of the reserved rooms were not available. The hotel did upgrade the room with additional extra bed. But the AC temperature in the room was not cold at all. The engineer came to fix the AC, but it didn't work at all. I called the front desk to ask for moving me to different room. I had to wait more than two hours to get the new room.

The new room was great, but the AC was still not cold. It was better, but still not cold. My friend who stayed with me and one of the hotel housekeepers confirmed that the AC temperature was not cold.

I have upcoming reservation in Swiss-Bellin in Malang on July 26th. I do hope that I will not getting the same experience.

Overall, the location was fantastic, staff were friendly, the room was clean and cozy
Pros:

The staff were very friendly, including the security at the front and the cleaner. They always greet you with smile and they display high professionalism throughout. The location of the hotel is fantastic, it's located right across the second biggest train station in Solo, and it's closeby from the basic necessities. Hotel room was clean.

Cons:

The AC was not able to be adjusted. It stayed at 22 degree, but certainly a fixed set isn't going to suit everyone's preference. The phone cable kept on falling off, and upon fixing, I was unable to make a call as there was no dial tone.
