Comfortable, friendly accommodation.
Pros:

Excellent value, very friendly staff, good breakfast. Good value for money.

Cons:

Slightly jaded staircase and walls, but to be expected for the age/size of the property and the price paid.

Would go again
Pros:

Very lovely stay and helpful staff!

Cons:

Couldn’t figure out how to close the windows and the radiator didn’t work I think, was told it turns off around 11pm but I turned it on around 9-10pm and it didn’t heat up.
Could’ve told staff but it wasn’t a bother for us.

Disappointing! The staff were good however.
Pros:

Staff were good & helpful.

Cons:

The Lift broke & we were on the 4th floor + our daughter was on the 2nd with a 2 yr old, therefore pushchair, etc + she's heavily pregnant. David had to carry everything from both floors - he's 76 & I'm 72 & suffer with Sciatica. Obviously our daughter wasn't able to lift. You couldn't sit up in bed in our room as the ceiling sloped over it, the water took forever to get hot in the shower.

Pros:

size of room was good along with the location

bath had bad limescale had to clean it.
Telly didn't work properly(but didn't come to watch TV)

Pros:

The location was close to the theatre that we were going to, a sea view, the parking was close to the hotel. I found the hotel quite easily.

Cons:

The bathroom, I didn't feel safe when having a shower and the bathroom was too small and needs fixing and you could hear people in other rooms using their bathroom. I can't have cup of tea without any milk that was missed

Loved it- would stay again if it’s not hot weather
Pros:

Love the vibe and location. Nice high ceilings and a bathtub. View of the ocean was supreme. Good WiFi for our work.

Cons:

No AC- that ocean side window gets the room toasty and windows barely open to cool off. Also no food on site (they didn’t tell us we needed to book breakfast in advance- so found out last day they did have food, double check this for yourself)

Room poorly prepared and serviced
Pros:

Great location with sea view

Cons:

Understaffed.
My room had not been prepared properly:
The windows were open and it was impossible for me to close them. The receptionist said it took all his strength to do so. Consequently I couldnt open and close the windows myself during my stay. The windows need to be adjusted to be useable!
Clunky old wardrobe with doors that didnt fit.
The tv remote didnt work so asked for new batteries. However the tv still didnt work at all. After many attempts the receptionist gave up and brought another tv.
The next day my room was not made up. After the second night they came and replaced towels in my room but didnt make the bed.
Totally inadequate level of checking the room before my stay and room servicing during my stay.

Situated right on the seafront

Cons:

If I'm really honest, the hotel does need a bit of upheaval, a bit of refurbishment, but overall, the stay was very pleasant. The staff were amazing and very friendly. We were only there for one night, and it was great value with the continental breakfast included.
