Összességében elégedett voltam vele.
Pros:

Közvetlen óceánparti elhelyezkedés. A teknős öből mellett.

Cons:

Kicsit lehetett volna tisztább. A reggeli elég egyhangú volt. Két verzió. Srí Lankai vagy angol reggeli közül lehetett választani. Ez egy-két napig elfogadható, de huzamosabb időn keresztül már nem.

Pros:

Die Lage mit direktem Meerblick ist wirklich großartig. Das Zimmer (Familienzimmer) war groß und geräumig. Sehr nettes Personal. Frühstück war gut und reichlich.

Pros:

Posizione perfetta, direttamente sulla spiaggia. Personale molto gentile. Buona la colazione e la nostra camera era davvero molto grande e pulita con un bel balcone vista mare. In 10 minuti di tuk tuk si raggiunge il centro di Unawatuna.

Cons:

Non ci sono abbastanza lettini in spiaggia per tutti gli ospiti e in molti tendono a lasciare occupati i pochi disponibili per ore senza stare effettivamente lì per usufruirne.

Bra hotell med gode senger/ bra kjøkken og hyggelig betjening
Pros:

Flott hotell sett i forhold til standard på Sri Lanka - veldig hyggelig betjening og flott beliggenhet med strand rett utenfor hotellet. Det var skilpadder rett utenfor og gir det hele et eksotisk preg. Hotellet ligger litt utenfor Unawatuna sentrum , men 5 min med Tuk Tuk og du er i en travel gate med restauranter , butikker som ender ved stranden.
Rommene og sengene var veldig bra, men flott utsikt.

Cons:

Jeg ville foretrukket om hotellet hadde fjernet noe av trærne som var ved stranden, men regner med at de er der for en grunn :) Det ville gjort det bedre å ligge ved hotellets senger, men alt i alt ikke noe stort problem.

As a base, the hotel is in a good location and nice to return to after a day of exploring .Breakfast was also good

Placeringen på stranden var perfekt.

Cons:

Morgenmaden blev serveret, men man blev ikke spurgt hvad man ville have.

Jeg blev syg mens jeg boede der, og bad om ekstra rengøring, det kom først 5 timer senere da jeg havde rykket for det.

Der var ikke solvogne på stranden, det måtte vi selv sørge for.

Emplacement parfait hôtel propre et personnel top
Pros:

L’emplacement était parfait les pieds dans l’eau, l’hôtel était propre et le personnel était très agréable .

Cons:

Les rideaux de la chambre n’étaient pas opaques trop de lumière le matin qui nous empêchait de dormir, le frigo qui ne refroidit absolument rien , le petit déjeuner le matin j’aurai préférer un buffet car la communication avec le personnel rendait l’expérience culinaire très limitée dommage.

Hardly a 4*, needs renovating the extremely noisy AC
Pros:

The staff: both the staff and owner are very nice and owner was apologetic and quickly make arrangements to compensate us for the noise issues by changing rooms and offering a late checkout free of charge.
The rooms: spacious, very nicely and modern decorated, comfortable bed, feather pillow (a pleasant surprise!).
The bathroom was also a pleasant surprise, great water pressure, thick towels, good amenities.
The breakfast (default continental, srilankan needs to be booked in advance) was plentiful and delicious (ignore other comments saying otherwise) with eggs made to order and plenty of fresh fruit.
The pool is good, has great depth and can be a good swimming alternative if the sea currents are high.
The beach is very nice, though a bit crowded, and easily accessible from the back garden.

Cons:

Like the other reviews, the noise from the AC machine on the rooftop makes it impossible to sleep in the rooms below (52 to 55 on 5th floor, 41 to 43 on the 4th floor). For the other rooms on 5th floor, earplugs or no sleep. The owner assured they were waiting on the end of season to change the AC machine.

Others mention the common areas are not staffed and a bit desolate, we found it as a positive as we could spend quality family time without noise from others or loud music.

Loose leaf teapots are not provided at breakfast but cheap quality teabags. Water is charged at breakfast (a bit insane).

I have to agree with others that this is hardly a 4*. 3 at most. If they renovate the AC unit and invest a bit in the common areas maybe it can become a 4*.
