Pros:

Loved being slightly away from town and almost into the bush, but with the ease of a comfortable place to stay. Great shower and the ice maker was a bonus. We enjoyed sitting out on the verandah looking up at the stars.

Rustic and Basic but Adequate Setup
Pros:

This is a rustic setup which was sufficient for our one night stay. We appreciate the electric mattress warmers and the kitchen full of amenities, though we didn’t use it. Otherwise the facility was pretty basic.

Cons:

For the price I would have expected a higher grade experience.

Amazing views and hikes. Highly recommend, and Prince Albert + Swartberg Pass is a stone throw away.
Pros:

The views are incredible. We did about half of the "pink" short hike and it was so nice, a breath of fresh air and nature all around with birds chirping in the valley. Can't wait to come back and do a much longer stay. The cabin was great, comes with aircon, heated blanket and the cookware was great too. There was no signal but the wifi worked really well.

Cons:

The fridge was a bit noisy but that was expected and we're light sleepers so we just switched it off. We couldn't get the hot tub hot.... Burnt through two bags of wood and it was luke warm - not sure why, maybe it was just too cold or we did it wrong.

Would highly recommend, we had a lovely stay, very accessible, beautiful views, clean, would book here again for sure!

Very disappointing....
Cons:

Maintenance is lacking at this establishment. Basin tap in the bathroom completely loose - one has to hold it with one hand in order to close the tap with the other. Shower door parts are lying around on the shower floor. (which did not look clean so we did not shower at all) Paint peeling inside and out and units are not numbered so one has to guess which is your unit. No doormat despite the mud all around. (It was raining during our visit) Left with the impression that there is no management presence at all and that the place is run on virtually no budget at all.

Relaxing stay in the most brautiful setting.
Pros:

First of all the setting is magnificent.
The cabins was well equiped. We love cooking so was great to have proper knives and cooking utensils. Even an ice machine!
The communal lapa was also great.
Staff was very friendly

Cons:

Nothing I didn’t like. Will definitely be back. We want to make it an annual trip with our friends.
