Very comfortable in an iconic hotel - worth the experience
Pros:

Iconic hotel with wonderful history. Nestled in the middle of a very quaint town. Staff very friendly and helpful
Accommodation was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very tasty and well prepared.

Cons:

Filter coffee in the room. Parking is limited unless you park in the main road.

It was ok.
Pros:

My partner's dinner was apparently delicious. However, my dinner was really a disappointment, especially price wise.

Cons:

There was no hairdryer in the room and there wasn't a tea/coffee station in the room. But if you wanted tea/coffee you could order it at any time of the day/night. They did serve tea between 4 and 5pm.

Very relaxing - even on the one rainy day.
Pros:

Excellent options for breakfast - you can decide whether you want freshly made scones or croissants or a full English breakfast with all the trimming. The staff were without exception, friendly, helpful and welcoming.

Cons:

TV is a little erratic, but I understand that the entire valley experiences the same problem.

I felt pampered
Pros:

The front-of-house staff were the nicest four ladies that seemed to work all the time. Early morning they are there with a smile and late evenings you see the same people. The breakfast was included and it was excellent. They were more than willing to alter meals for my vegan friend and everything was spot-on.

Since it was winter, the fireplaces throughout the hotel were always burning, giving it a lovely cozy atmosphere!

Cons:

Instant coffee in the room. Argh! No alcohol in the minibar: it's a mini-BAR after all?
