I wish we could have stayed longer!!
Pros:

We stayed in cabin 71. It was a full house and wonderful for a group. Beautiful setting.

Our bed was squishy.

Location was nice and an outdoor pool and we arrived early and they gave us an early check in.

The room was smaller than it appeared from the photos and the air con system was so loud we had to turn off at night.

Cute looking cabin hotel, close to Mount Rushmore and many sights in the area.
Pros:

Location to Mount Rushmore. Clean room. Had a pool and activities, but didn't stay long enough nor have the time to use any of them. Beautiful area. Room has everything for a good nights stay.

Cons:

Had to walk up uneven, steep stairs to get to room and carry suitcase up and down the stairs. Our room was just off a busy road and was dangerous to go from the road to hotel. We also had to go down a little one lane road that went to our room and it was difficult to go from that location to the main road.

I haven't been this relaxed in ages
Pros:

We loved our stay in a beautiful cabin in the beautiful black hills. We felt like we were in a5 star motel. So cozy and comfortable. Spacious. So clean. This place has everything you need for a wonderful vacation and can bring your pets. Close to the town of Keystone for shopping. There is a beautiful restaurant right on site with a hardworking staff and an awesome menu. A picnic table outside which we enjoyed with our new friends made in another cabin. A cute porch and porch swing..the loft was also great feature with 2 extra beds. If you put trash out it was picked up within minutes. We will definitely return . Also a nice size pool where a kind gentleman attended to it every morning

Location, Location, Location! Central to everything in Rapid City. Staff was warm and welcoming. On site restaurant was outstanding! Room was small but comfortable. WE enjoyed our stay and would be exited to return

Pros:

The staff was so kind and helpful in every way. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The lodge is located close to all activities. So that made it easy to be able to do alot in one day.

Cons:

The only thing we weren't able to do was enjoy the pool area. Which was one reason we chose to stay there. It was overly crowded and the website said heated. The water was far too cold. Even after a hot day of adventuring

Absolutely beautiful location and kind staff.
Pros:

The location for the park was great, the view is absolutely gorgeous. Seeing the horses was amazing, the restaurant on site was delicious and staff great- but it was pricey.

Cons:

The rooms were not super clean- and no refrigerator or air conditioning or microwave- kind of had a barn feel - but any issue that we reported to the staff was immediately and kindly addressed.

Pros:

We stayed in the Family Getaway Cabin, it was perfect for our needs. The location was perfect for hitting all the tourist spots. Staff was great, the restaurant was fantastic, would definitely recommend the Powder House Lodge.
