Royal hotel portree
Pros:

The location was perfect. The staff were friendly and helpfull. Good breakfast choice. On the first floor i am disabled. Quiet most of the time.

Cons:

The room is dated. Mattress and pillows too hard. The room was cold through the day so couldnt chill. No extra blankets. I was there 3 days no cleaners came near us. Had to make up my own bed. Empty my own bins. 2 nights the restaurant was closed. The bar was so cold you cant sit long. The coldest hotel we.ve been in. Limited parking we parkedin the banks car park.

Room with a great view!
Pros:

We wanted a room with a harbour view and we were not disappointed. We were able to watch the changeable Scottish weather in comfort. We were glad of the heavy blackout curtains as the early morning sunshine which was also reflecting off the still water was really bright. The room had everything we needed. Charging points at the bedside as well.

Cons:

A shower over the bath is always a negative for me.
The wifi got weaker the further from the door you were.

Ok. The fact it was clean and well located made it worth. But the price was high for what we had.

Well located. Amazing Views from the bedroom. Clean.

Cons:

Dated. Restroom fan didn't work. Door connected to another room, with papers covering holes. Price was high for the conditions we had. Breakfast was ok because they had warm options. The breakfast buffet isn't that good.

Hotel is in centre of town. Staff in the hotel were pleasant and sociable.

Cons:

Hotel a little tired by way of decor, and ensuite could do with an upgrade really. Paper napkin stuffed in keyhole and handle hole of adjoining room door.
