I would highly recommend staying at the Royal hotel . Very central location for all amenities.
Pros:

The room was very bright, large and very comfortable. Plenty of towels etc. in the en-suite and loads of tea, coffee and biscuits!! The staff were extremely friendly - anyone you passed in the corridor or in the reception area also spoke and made you feel welcome

Cons:

My only fault (which is not really a fault) was the room was a bit too warm - I prefer a very cold room when sleeping but my grandson and friend loved the warmth.

Amazing stay
Pros:

Amazing stay, the beds were so comfy, room was lovely and spacious, perfect tv temperature, power shower, nicely decorated, staff were lovely and the breakfast was just outstanding, excellent location too will defo return here, amazing value for money

Worst restaurant service in Scotland
Pros:

it is the worst breakfast service hotel in Skye Scotland .
When I came down to the breakfast. There was nobody in the restaurant. I asked if I can sit by window. There are two single tables by the window. The waiter said they are very busy. He only can put me the corner. But my breakfast kept 30mins, there were only 2 people in the 40 seaters restaurant. The restraunt lies in front of customers and with laughing. Very rude. Worst experience in Scotland.
