The ladys in the Dining area were very remarkable, friendly and pleasant with welcoming arms to assist and accomadate in anyway to make breakfast rememberable. Want to give a thanks to April, Brenda and the other ladys who worked the dining area and Rose who works the front desk. April had even went beyond to make a special sweet coffee as I like for me and Brenda/April to bring tooth picks as requested. I recommend the stay at DoubleTree by Hilton.

I stay at his hotel when I’m in Huntington, West Virginia and I have for over six years. The location is great and the staff are here to greet and serve you. Tami is the main reason why I keep coming back. She is the best person I’ve ever met at any of the hotels that I have stayed at. She is so attentive and accommodating and she will make your stay is complete. No need to stay anywhere else except this hotel.

We stayed one night at this hotel for my
Husband’s birthday so we could visit Marshall University, his Alma mater. One of the lamps was broken upon our arrival, but maintenance had it replaced within minutes of a call to the front desk. All the staff was friendly and polite, and the room was very nice and comfortable. Will stay here again if ever back in town!

Doubletree did above and beyond for a surprise event for a family member in December 2025. Tonya Sowdwer was wonderful from start to finish, taking time to answer questions, and to ensure the vision came to life. She has phenomenal experience in event planning and coordinating, even being skilled to help assist with decor and step in to fix any unexpected problems. She is patient, genuine, and truly cares that customers have a positive experience. Our family and friends are still talking about the wonderful event space; we highly recommend using this hotel for your next celebration.

We had our company Christmas luncheon in the main ballroom on Thursday, December 11, 2025 and the staff did a fantastic job!! The food was delicious, especially the spinach dip!! Tonya Sowder made sure everyone was greeted and taken care of! Can’t wait to go again next year!

The hostess and staff were wonderful and respectful to the Full Gospel Assembly Church family. I think this fourth year coming to Double Tree restaurant for Christmas breakfast to fellowship with each other during the holiday season. I truly enjoy myself from food to fellowship church members, and have a wonderful experience at Double Tree restaurant 😀. Beatrice Spradley

Management was extremely attentive to everyone's needs! The servers were always present and went over and beyond to serve those of us who had special nutritional needs!

For the last 3 years our Church meet for our holiday breakfast at the Doubletree. Tonya was the besr host. She went above and beyond the accommodate all of our needs.
She's the best!!

After a long drive before the Half Marsthon at Marshall i really needed a good night sleep. Thats exactly what i got! Great air conditioning, clean and comfortable room and bed! Perfect location!

We spent three nights here during the Marshall U Marathon. Public areas and the room were very clean. Room is decent size. Yes, there are some scratches on furniture, but this is no Ritz, and Huntington is no (insert your fave luxe destination). The stay was perfectly adequate for the purpose. Gym is decently sized with two treadmill, an elyptical and three bikes (why?). We did not use the valet and parked outside (free on weekends).
There is no housecleaning during the stay - you just get new towls (if the cleaning staff gets to you, otherwise you find them and they will bring towels). Windows could use washing.

This hotel is located right by downtown, you can walk to restaurants and also along the Ohio river. The lobby is very modern and nice although the room and hallways could use a little updating (some fraying carpet, dingy shower, older TV), but it was clean enough. Our reservation included free breakfast which was very good with amazing service. April had a fresh pot of decaf on the table when we arrived each morning. Thank you April! We were in Huntington for a wedding and the reception was in the hotel. Food was great and Tonya did an amazing job with the event. The staff makes this a place that we would stay at again.

They gave us a small room with no arm chair and we are 74 and needed this to help with our back issues. Poorly lit. Dirty shower. No help. When asked for a chair that did not roll to sit in they told us to come get it. When I complained to Hilton they said I should have spoken with the manager that they could not help us. Did not fell comfortable or safe. Bad lighting small difficult to get around room

Clean room but not modern. Stains on carpet and water in shower did not get hot. But convenient location to Marshall and walkable to restaurants.

Everything Was perfect!

Not too shabby lol been awhile aince ive been to a hotel shocked that the continebtal breakfast was $16 glad i did the adon for 12.50

We did an event at the hotel and had the pleasure of working with Leroy. He was a huge help to our team and really worked to make our event successful.

The valet parking system leaves much to be desired. When we arrived we waited in the street because cars were parked in the drive-thru awaiting the valet to park them. We finally parked ourselves elsewhere. By the way, there was no mention of a parking charge on the Hotels.com website. The woman tending bar was very efficient and friendly and the salad was fresh.

We enjoyed our stay. The staff are very friendly. Convenient to shopping and dining. We will definitely stay here again if we go back to the area.
