Great breakfast and nice hotel service.

Adam could not have been more helpful. This was a quick stopover but the room was super clean and he gave us a great recommendation for a truly unique restaurant.

Property manager and other staff were awesome! Breakfast was good, especially the fresh fruit. Rooms are basic but clean, with comfortable beds and pillows. The area around the hotel was not very walkable, so expect to drive or stay on site (they will help you order amazing pizza delivery, so surprisingly good!)

Nice little hotel in a non-tourist town.

Very nice owner and staff. I arrived late because of traffic but they made sure I still got to have dinner with a nice glass of wine. Very quaint.

We were only here for 2 nights as we finished our trip, but loved it. The staff was great, the rooms were very clean, and it was a great location for exploring Orotina.

We loved this hotel!!! Super cute, great grounds and pool. Beyond friendly staff. Dinner was the best food I had during my 2 weeks in CR!!

My wife and I stayed at this hotel on our way out of SJO traveling west for 1 night. Important things we were looking for: secure parking, breakfast included, air conditioning, WiFi, easy access from the highway.

Senor Herrera was very accommodating and kind. He showed us his available rooms and let us choose between them. The rooms were clean and the hotel grounds was well manicured. There was a pool that was available, which we didn't use but others did--it looked clean and well maintained. We ate dinner and breakfast at the hotel before continuing on our travels, which was very convenient. There are several grocery stores and a market within walking distance from the hotel. There is a futbol arena next door and a bar across the street, but they quieted down at a decent hour. The hotel is well secured and we felt like our vehicle was safe behind the locked courtyard gate. Overall, would stay here again for sure. It was the perfect place for us, meeting our needs, and well exceeded our expectations for the price.

Friendly staff and clean rooms. The hot water situation in our room was not ideal. None in the sink. Finicky in the shower with a little heater attached just before the shower head. The “on site” restaurant is actually a block away and the food arrives not too warm.

Lovely place in the center. Nice breakfast included in the stay. Very nice over all, nice pool. Good coffee in the morning.

The hotel is a scam, not a single light on when we pulled up. Gate locked. banging, calling did not get any response.

We have traveled the world and without a doubt, The boutique iguana verde hotel was the best stay that we have ever experienced. The staff was always bringing us fresh fruits and cold drinks and fresh beach towels. They go above and beyond to make you feel at home. It's very cozy and clean- we cannot wait to stay again! And includes a delicious breakfast

The hotel was immaculately clean and the included breakfast was delicious. Our daughter loved the pool - it was just the thing after a long day of travel. Our room had good AC and comfortable beds. The staff were very kind and helpful! Will recommend this hotel to others and stay here again if I’m ever in the area!

The owner was very kind and accommodating. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The only issue was the area around the hotel had very little in the way of dining options or things to do.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Comfortable rooms with AC and hot water. The made to order breakfast is a very nice perk. Conveniently located, walking distance to restaurants, shopping, and the Central Park.

Beautiful property, and the team that worked there / owned it were exceptional. Highly recommend!
