Stay for a night
Pros:

Very friendly owner; if you needed anything, no problem

Cons:

Unfortunately Bookings scoring sistem does not differentiate between different accommodation classes
Hotel bij Verhoeven being a budget hotel, in its own is OK.

But, at the evening during my stay, in the basement was music band rehearsals, for a couple of hours... you can imagine.
And rooms window was facing a hotels access staircase, privacy in the room was only with curtains closed.

Cons:

The women at the reception of a restaurant didn't seem to be very happy in speaking English at all. She kept on repeating do you understand do you understand as if she is speaking with some uneducated person...
The hotel is far way from main station and hidden in a like a barn house of horses
Extremely loud music until 10 pm. It seemed like a music school!!

Pros:

an absolutely terrible experience. It started when we were asked if we'd pre-ordered breakfast, we asked for something simple, rolls and coffee. we were shown to our rooms, old towels littered the floor. The rooms were small, had an unpleasant stale odour and were not ensuite. I had a hand bowl but no soap.
after returning from a meal at 11pm I couldn't get to sleep as there was a bridge evening downstairs and the noise combined with an over zealous use of a microphone was unbearable. In the morning they couldn't even rustle up a bread roll, they refused to accept a credit card (in a hotel!) and declined my debit card so I had to rush out to get cash. On commenting about the awful noise, the poor quality of the rooms, non existent breakfast and lack of soap I was told, sorry we're a budget hotel. This obviously reflects the owners attitude to customer care. My recommendation is find another hotel, failing that sleep in your care, or find a park bench.

die sanitären einrichtungen sind stark renovierungsbedürftig. eine toilette für mehrere Zimmer.3 duschen, zwar sauber aber Duschköpfe nicht arretierbar, halterungen locker und beschädigt.
zimmer mit Waschbecken sauber und in ordnung
bett sehr gut
