Opening my safety box stolen >>
I had a terrible experience at this hotel. My money was stolen from my room, and when I reported it, nothing was done to help. The hotel management was unresponsive, There are no proper security measures in place, making it unsafe for guests. If you value your safety and belongings, I strongly advise against staying here. Be very careful!

Right by the beach, and easy to connect to other parts of the city. Interesting market right below the hotel.
Stayed here as a solo traveller for 3 nights. Parking was safe and secure and check in was flawless. I had upgraded to a larger room so K had a balcony. Room was basic however had everything I needed as I spent most of my time out exploring Capetown.
Mojo is ideally situated in Seapoint, with lots of restaurants, coffee shops and bars in the area.
Absolutely no issues with this hotel, I was not impacted by any noise.
The hotel also has a street food market attached with nightly entertainment which was very busy.
I would definitely consider staying here again
Just ok but could be better. The staff is nice and polite but not friendly or very helpful. The location is convenient and lots of dining options nearby.
Great experience
Centrally located hotel with plenty of amenities nearby. The room was large and enjoyable to stay in. My less than stellar marks come down to the small things; the bathroom didn’t have a proper showerhead, the kitchen area didn’t have much for actually making a meal, and the TV didn’t work. Not big issues, just small things
Windowless rooms without warning are unacceptable, staff luke warm at best, and 3 cockroaches in room.
Near Seapoint
Mojo hotel recommended highly. From the warm welcome on arrival to departure, amazing experience overall good vibe and lots to do in the Seapoint area. Mojo market itself is a must to stop in on a weekend, where it becomes alive, live music played throughout the night.
Couldn’t get the wifi to work. Other than that it was a nice stay
Super Friendly staff, room is clean, super nice view to the ocean, nicely located, the room I booked, crash pad , is small, but functional enough, there is a bit of smell coming from toilet as there is no close doors to the toilet. But overall it's ok.
First time Africa, bucketlist-thing. My wife's in a wheelchair and we had a very big room. Though the shower was not accessible for her, we had a great time. Good service, nice people, The Mojo Market sublime! So Baie Dankie for the stay. CapeTown is nice and ofcourse not everything is perfect, that's why we see everything as adventure and challenge, not as granted or disability.
Thanks again!
Everything was great and I would book this place 1000 times over!!
This property is located perfectly. a 2 block walk to the beach. a lot of restaurants within walking distance. The staff, were very friendly and helpful. I arrived early, and my room was not ready. The staff held my luggage and I was able to walk and check out the area until my room was ready..
In my opinion, i had the BEST room of the property. Room 228 is a stand alone room. Had it's own Private balcony that faced the Ocean.
If you book the MOJO, i recommend requesting RM 228. If you get it, you will Thank me...
This was undoubtedly the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had in my life. I would recommend this to backpackers who enjoy partying every night but not to those looking for a family holiday. I went on this trip with my family, we were in total a group of 8. The double room I was in was extremely small and you can look straight into the shower even with the doors closed. Another prominent issue is the constant noise from the street and music from market below that starts at around 9am and continues all day until the early hours of the morning. Furthermore, the hallways constantly smelt of weed. The hotel overall also has very poor maintenance as the other 2 groups within my family both had to be moved to different rooms due to the fact that the air conditioners were not functioning. Once everyone’s rooms had been changed around and we had finally settled in, we noticed the lack of towels. When a family member went to reception asking for more towels as we were 6 people in 1 room with only 2 towels, she was told that they did not have enough and had to go to other rooms with a member of staff and take towels from there. On top of that the hotel clearly does not keep track of which guests are in each room. My aunt and her family walked into their room one evening only to see another woman sitting in the room at their table. She had been told their room was a dorm and so didn’t think anything of their bags and items. The next day after the lady had been moved out of their room my aunt had been told they needed to be moved to a different room for their final night as someone else had booked their room. They were then given the keycard to MY room as the staff did not know/care that the room was unavailable. My aunt had to inform them that we were in that room before being moved again. Overall I did not sleep the entire week as I could literally feel the base of the music from down below through my bed and do not recommend to anyone even if it is cheap it’s just not worth it. Never ever will go there again in my life.
Horrible place. Don't know where to start. Music from the downstairs bars and dance floors filters through the rooms. Impossible to sleep. Most nights till midnight and yesterday till 3am. Drunken people wandering passage with smell of weed everywhere. Reception are clueless. My sister walked back into her room to find someone else having dinner at the table. They had given her room key to another guest. They then asked her to change room halfway through stay with no gelp, because the room she was in was allocated to someone else. Reception then gave her a new room, which happened to be mine. They are clueless. Bathrooms are mouldy and Impossible to get towels or help fixing aircon. Rather stay away
If you read reviews about Mojo hotel, you will see that almost every month they steal money from your room, even from the safe.
This happened to me. You don't get any support from the management or police.
Don't stay in this hotel.
Accessible to mode of transport
I had an absolutely terrible experience at this hostel, from check-in to check-out. The rooms are dirty, and messy, power outlets so loose one can't put the plugin in, the shower has barely warm water; the rooftop terrace that they brag about online has just very uncomfortable picnic tables, which make it impossible to hang out there for longer than few hours; the kitchen has cockroaches; staff is rude, slow and irresponsible - never sent me the extra blanket I requested since the room was so cold; if you are a girl staying in the dorm, know that they going to check in drunk man with no luggage at the middle of the night, making you feel insecure; wifi doesn't work properly in the room. Plus, I had an absolutely terrible check in experience, waiting for over 7h for my room. I arrived at the hostel at 6:30 am and was greeted by the night staff, who got my documents, and confirmed my booking but informed check-in was just 3pm but would check if my room could be ready right after check-out time. I asked to leave my luggage in the reception (which is a service that it said to be included) so I could go explore, and the night staff said it wasn't safe, therefore, I was condemned to sit at the reception and wait. At 7am, there was a shift change and 3 new receptionists came. These receptionists saw me sitting at the (very uncomfortable chairs at the) reception but did not communicate with me - they were too busy scrolling on their social media, looking at their phones the whole time. Check-out was at 10am and I saw all guests leaving and waited as, in theory, soon my room would be ready. At 11:30, I finally walked to the receptionist to discover they had no idea who I was - how come someone is sitting at their reception for 5h and they just don't think who could that be is beyond my understanding. The lady informed me she would talk to housekeeping to get my room ready as soon as possible. That took another 2 hours; When I talked to the housekeeping, they had no idea that I was waiting for the room. The staff has no communication at all among themselves. Naturally, a hotel has a minimum guaranteed check-in time (which was 3pm), but every hotel I have been to around the world, when they have a guest that arrives earlier and is waiting at the reception, have the courtesy to try to get the room ready as soon as check-outs are done, putting a priority on that room for housekeeping. In total, I waited for 7 hours after an overnight flight that I was extremely tired and just wasted half of my first day in CT due to the hotel irresponsibility, disorganization and neglect.
