Misleading images, tired and broken hotel
Pros:

It has an impressive outside and great location

Cons:

But the rooms look nothing like the pictures, it smells funny in the hall, we wanted a terrace room but could lot use our terrace due to the dog pooh left all over by the guests in the next rooms dog, who spent most of their time standing outside our room with their dog. The bathroom was cracked and poorly decorated, the mattress was lumpy and broken and it’s just really run down which is a shame as it has the potential to be stunning, my feeling is they have refurbished 1-2 rooms for photos but non of the others

Disappointing room in what was a grand building in its day.
Pros:

Locality for our touring of the island, along with the location to the esplanade. Free parking with CCTV within the hotel grounds

Cons:

Room was small, with very basic facilities, without even having a night stand beside the bed. Bathroom was very small and in need of a complete upgrade / update. Carpets in the public area of the hotel leading to the rooms looked grubby were stained and threadbare in places. Windows within corridors required cleaning!! A hotel relying on the sister company coach tours for most of its clientele - restaurant was already closed at 20:30 when we booked in. Advertised and priced as a three star hotel but in reality barely managed a 2 star rating in our opinion.

Pros:

Rooms were big and maintained well. Staffs are polite. Bathroom was really clean and tidy. Total value for money.

Cons:

We booked 3 family rooms and unfortunately all 3 were on different sides.

Recommend for location, friendly helpful staff and clean rooms
Pros:

Good location,clean , friendly staff and room was good size, clean and outside access for our dog which was arranged by the receptionist

Cons:

Breakfast was limited in cereals and no pastry’s

Perfect setting for an A24 Horror movie…
Pros:

The garden grounds

Cons:

Very outdated, lack of facilities & cleanliness. No early check in which ruined our travel plans & no response from the hotel + Forced early check out (10:00). Room very dated, terrible lighting, and bed extremely uncomfortable and small. No fridge, USB plugs etc.
