The hotel is great if you are travelling with pets however it's looking a little dated. When we booked with booking.com they said the booking hadn't come through and we were lucky they weren't fully booked! Might be worth checking the hotel has your booking!

Beautiful grounds, lovely historic building, pleasant staff.

Cons:

Some minor issues with a couple of cobwebs and some dust but otherwise the room was clean and was refreshed after our first night which we appreciated. Disabled parking was a little tricky but we managed.

It was a good room other than a major disturbance by a member of staff.
Cons:

when a resident has booked a room, make sure you know which room they are in. I was sitting at 10pm and a member of staff entered without knowing or trying to find out if anyone was in the room

They forgot where they put my boyfriend metro he’s car when he gave it them when we went to tne festival as we didn’t havetimetto take bags out of car we had to go straight to festival my boyfriend had to go doen I. Tne morning to get hes jet which they thrn found pathetic

The staff was very kind, helpful and approachable. The location was beautiful, the breakfast is amazing. The rooms are tidy and are very comfortable
