Beautiful grounds. The heated pool area and outdoor dining area was magical. The trulli we slept in was a literally out of a fairytale. The service was impeccable and the food was top notch.
Such a pretty place to stay, felt very French/Italian. There was a sculpture displayed when we were staying, loved this kwirky side to the place.
Staff were all very very lovely.
Did cooking class that was great.
Close drive to lovely towns for exploring.
Rooms were lovely, such nice details with the crochet linen etc, a lot of care has gone into this family run business.
Paddle ball was fun, had a great set up spa area with steam room etc and was nice to hang out around an swim in the magnesium pool.
Nothing not to like.
It did sell itself as a bit of a health resort which I didn’t find it so much like that but that didn’t bother me.

Zauberhafte Anlage
Tolles Essen
Clean - loved the pool setting and the grounds - the young lady that helped us check in at reception was delightful.
Very pricey and amenities are limited. Breakfast was average, but not outstanding for the price.
The location is peaceful and beautiful. The pool setting is the highlight of the resort. The staff can not do enough for you, and are friendly and personable. We hired a car to explore the area so the location gave us the best of both worlds, access to the busy towns in the evening and the peace and quiet in the day.
Very nice bedroom (Trulli) & beautiful swimming pool.
The quality of service is not up to the task and the price. People are friendly but service is slow and there is no proactiveness.
Our stay at Leonardo Trulli was incredible. As part of our honeymoon, we ventured to Puglia and WOW ... what a surprise experienced. We didn't know what to expect but we had the most amazing time at this resort. From our arrival to our departure, the entire team treated us like family. Alessia was so kind and helpful with everything we needed (including going out of her way to help us with our broken rental car!). We took part in the cooking class and it was a great experience ... although we preferred eating the chef's cooking instead of ours. :) Every meal we had (and we had breakfast, lunch, and multiple dinners) was better than the last, which I didn't think was possible. Leone was the kindest person we have ever met and I will remember him and his amazing wine recommendations always. The property itself was one of the best I've seen. The pool was beautiful, the rooms were large, beds comfortable and very clean. We ventured into town via bike, which was great, but we enjoyed being at the resort even more! This was such a magical place and we will absolutely be back.
Lovely hotel in beautiful grounds with the best swimming pool. Imagine walking through the flower beds , smelling roses and jasmine. The pool is a warm magnesium pool which leaves your skin and hair soft. The staff are warm and welcoming. Breakfast is delightful. This is why we came back this year and will come again next year .
Nothing
Leonardo Trulli Resort is set in a stunning location, surrounded by the charm of Locorotondo’s countryside. The apartment was spacious, featuring comfortable beds, Sky Digital TV, and a well-equipped bathroom with essentials like a vanity kit and wardrobe space. The heated pool was undoubtedly the highlight, providing a relaxing experience that we truly enjoyed during our stay. the staff were incredibly polite, friendly, and welcoming. They did their best to accommodate us and even shared useful local recommendations. The breakfast offered a nice selection, mainly Italian sweets, but also ham, cheese, and hard-boiled eggs.
Despite the beautiful surroundings, the resort did not live up to its price tag. While the apartment had great potential, attention to detail was lacking. The bathroom was not spotless, the sink drained poorly, and a water tap was broken. Additionally, the shower gel bottle was empty and never refilled, despite daily room cleaning. Another major letdown was the garden hot tub, which wasn't working. Even after informing reception, and being assured that someone had been called to fix it, no one ever came. Instead, we were offered access to the spa hot tub, but since we were traveling with children, we preferred to use the one in our garden to avoid disturbing other guests. The restaurant was another disappointment—the menu had no prices, and the food was bland, poorly presented, and tasteless, making it not worth the expense.
