Value for money
Pros:

The location is fantastic. I'd recommend a superior room for the best views. Overall the hotel could do with an update. But we stay here eveytime as it is value for money.

Cons:

The rooms are a little tired and although the room we stayed in may have been decorated recently it wasn't done very well.
There was paint on the bathroom floor, toilet and bath. The sink was cracked and a stain on the carpet.

Great location. Ask for sea view room.
Pros:

We were not expecting the ritz and it was just a cheap getaway for the night. Location is amazing. View from lounge area was lovely, however do not book a room without a sea view. Although you can upgrade and I wish we had but we were literally there for a night. The staff were friendly and we had a nice lady check us in on arrival. Very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was fine and plenty of choice and they do top it up with fresh items. There is a big garage behind the hotel which was great. But the first appearance of this is shabby and untidy.

Cons:

The bathroom was not particularly great. Just had a cold feel. Tatty looking. None of us showered in the morning as couldn’t bare the thought of using a cold, dreary bathroom. Thin duvets and thin pillows. I understand the hotel will be undergoing renovation end of season but whilst it’s open it should still be providing nicer facilities. The hotel seemed quiet and although we didn’t upgrade prior, we could still have been asked on arrival. Even if it meant better bathrooms.

The room was left filthy even after we politely asked the staffs to clean it at 4 different times.

The older receptionist was raising her voice at us and was very aggressive with her behaviour. And finally, staff couldn’t help us either get direction when we couldn’t figure out where to get closest bus // train.

WAS OK BUT NO WIFI
Pros:

ROOM WAS GREAT WITH A LOVELY SEA VIEW BREAKFAST ALSO WAS ALSO VERY GOOD. I WAS LUCKY TO GET A PARKING SPACE IN THE HOTEL GARAGE FREE

HAD NO WIFI FOR THREE DAYS DID COMPLAIN TO RECEPTION WHO ADVISED ITS DOWN TO THE STRONG WINDS AND POOR WEATHER

Wir können die vorherigen Bewertungen nicht bestätigen. Wir hatten ein renoviertes Familienzimmer mit Blick auf die Bucht. Großzügig für 3 Personen und sauber. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr lecker und reichhaltig. Der Service unglaublich freundlich. Das Auto konnte kostenlos direkt vor dem Hotel / Garage stehen.
Wir reisen viel in Uk rum und sind einiges gewöhnt. Von daher mögen wir den besonderen Charme vergangener Zeiten.
Wer nicht alles auf die Goldwaage legt und mal Fünfe gerade sein lässt, kann hier ein paar angenehme Tage verbringen.

Cons:

Wir mussten sehr lange auf warmes Wasser warten.

Маленький затишний номер з видом на океан, все необхідне для короткого відпочинку на кілька днів. Поруч центр міста, пляжі, зупинка залізничного транспорту, що дуже зручно.

Grab a bargain
Pros:

Lovely people that run the place. So affordable and the rooms are great for the price.
The love and care put into the breakfast menu alone deserves a mention too. The fact that they could feed my ve/gf partner well is tantamount to how good this place is.

Cons:

Clearly having a refit and in the process of doing the place up which is not their fault. We will be sad if it’s suddenly more expensive.
