The manager and staff were very welcoming and approachable, breakfast was wonderful, sea views and very close to station, comfortable room etc
1 hour wait for breakfast to be served
The friendly staff especially the lady who served our breakfast. Everyone we meet was friendly. The location was perfect just a short walk into town. The view was wonderful
The hotel needs a bit of a make over but we are led to believe it is down for a major refurbishment. Only hope it is sympathetic as the building has character
Tutto!
Forse un pochino troppo calda la stanza. Abbiamo provato a ridurre, ma non ci siamo riusciti! :)
Great location and we were allocated a sea view room. The staff were super friendly
Extra charge if £20 per night for a dog. The fee was not advertised at all and quite frankly extortionate.
The hotel was tired and scruffy. The carpets were dirty, walls stained and the shower needed a good clean to remove the orange tile stains. There was also a bucket on the landing to capture the leaking roof.
The hotel itself (reception, bar area and staff) were lovely
The room itself was so Dirty, shower not working properly, far too hot in the rooms, broken window catch (cut myself on it) Paid for a sea view and was probably better off not paying for one! Shower looked like it was held together with mechano. Walls and decor very poor and needs to be remodernised!! Shower pressure very poor and no hot water.
The grey ledge in the room paint scuffs and peeling off.
Although it being a pet friendly hotel, there needs to be a standard throughout no matter the price you pay!
There was a really bad stain on the wall next to one of the beds. Had to pull bed away from the wall as unsure a to what the stain was!!
It is really sad that a hotel in such a beautiful town has such terrible reviews.
Friendly and location
Cosmetic updating
Fantastic for the price. Very helpful price. Powerful shower.
View from the room
At the check in I was not informed about check out time. Apparently the receptionist was suppose to give me a paper with that information. But that did not happened. Next morning I was told that the check out was at 10 am therefore I had to pay for the late check out. I consider this to be a robbery. Never again.
The location of this hotel is absolutely excellent with unobstructed sea views across the bay.
The property looks as though it has changed hands and is therefore in the process of some upgrading.
Location
Rude staff
Disgusting rooms
Good location.

Hotel was cheap and staff were very friendly. Onsite parking was a bonus. Soaps, shower gel, kettle and biscuits in room. Great view from sea view rooms.
Hotel is tired but clean. Pillows were quite lumpy. We could hear people talking outside the windows not sure how good the double glazing is so maybe take earplugs if you are a light sleeper.
Amazing location. And bonus of easy parking too. Beautiful sea view.
The hotel is dated, but given the price and the location I didn't have a problem with this. Clean, but the bathroom did need a little work and shower was a bit pathetic. Charging £20/night for a dog was extremely expensive given the price I paid for people! Especially when I was provided with absolutely nothing. Most places that charge a lot less tend to provide a dog bowl/blanket/treats.
Friendly and very clean
