St Ives Bay View Hotel...dont bother.
Pros:

The view from the balcony

Cons:

The whole place needs a good clean and re furbishment!
Walls and carpets stained and marked, rusted radiator in the bathroom, door handle plate to our room falling off. No breakfast.

They should do something about fans or air con obviously they can charge for it but make it comfortable for guests. I do

I would say location is perfect.

Cons:

Property is not worth it in the summer as if doesn’t have any proper ventilation and they do not have good fans. It’s very uncomfortable in summers. You can’t sleep at night.

Pros:

I like how good the location is.

Cons:

The room is hot during summer. The ventilation is not enough. The parking is full of birth poop which should be improve. Serving the breakfast takes long specially when there is a lot of guess.

Pros:

One member of staff were friendly, breakfast was fairly good, the room was big, in a great location, beautiful views

Cons:

Really dirty in the room we had to get them to clean again, staff were blunt and didn't have great customer service except for 1 member of staff at breakfast, the whole hotel was run down, dirty and smelt like damp

Pros:

It’s close to beach and town

Cons:

Everywhere is dirty and some parts smell mouldy. Carpets in main area are stained, chairs have stained and food crumbs stuck in crevices, and tables are sticky and dirty.
It was summer so they provided a fan which is dusty and dirty so basically you are blowing dirt to yourself. Room felt like a sauna and they don’t have extra fans although the one given hardly works. Walls, furniture and floor of the room are all marked and dusty. I stayed in 7 similar priced hotels and Airbnb during my trip around Cornwall, this is the worse. BELIEVE the low ratings. I risked it and paid the price!

Near the Sea..

Cons:

Just one problem.. when i asked for no disturbing. they still did it. on the 28th of June.. i was a little upset..about some of my stuff was touched and taken and put in the the Rubbish bin.. my tooth paste and toobrush.. and my soap..

Unforcomfortable stay but accessible

The location is great and is best access to the bay area

Cons:

The rooms are too hot. They only provide 1 small fan which is not enough for a very hot summer weather. The breakfast was prepared late. It should be prepared before 08:00 opening. The crowd were waiting in line for the food that they are still preparing.

Cons:

38° dentro de la habitación. No había agua fría en la ducha, solo salía agua ardiendo. Ante la queja, recepción no puso ninguna solución.
