The place is falling apart. Grubby. Reception staff really couldn't care less
The room nice and spacious, the staff were friendly and helpful .

Perfect , central for the town ,restaurants local cafes and lovely walks all the way along the seafront and pier.
Bar meals were really good,Breakfast wasn’t so good, sausages were really greasy the scrambled egg had the strangest texture, just wasn’t enjoyable.

nothing
Great location and lots to see
Hot water didnt work in the hotel room.
And 1 working lift smelt like cigarettes
The location was great, easy walking to the winter garden's, parking on site. Breakfast was excellent, so much choice. The bars were very competitively priced.
Not as clean as I expected, room wasn't cleaned during my stay. There was only 1 lift available and the hotel was full. Most people had to use the stairs, cleanliness could be much better. The shower was only warm and not very good pressure.
Staff very helpful and friendly 9
poor decor - cracks in walls, gaps in windows poor cleaning floorboards very loose/creaky
The bed was comfortable enough although more of a full size than a queen. The breakfast was really great.
The building needs a huge influx of capital to improve its condition. Hopefully this will happen sooner than later. For a building housing as many guests as it does, the only elevator barely holds two people and maybe their luggage. Most of the guests were elderly and I have no idea how the business stays open with only one elevator 2'x3'. The carpets throughout are dirty, rooms are dusty (other guests confirmed), the shower water was tepid although the basin had fairly hot water, the vanity sink was old and crackled with loose grout. Walls and ceiling had wallpaper peeling but had been painted over. Overall very untidy and unkept.
Good Location
Uncomfortable Bed and Pillows
The breakfast was good, it was buffet service. We did have a problem because although it was advertised as included when we booked, hotel manager tried to charge us £12.50 for each breakfast on both days. In the end when we questioned this the said they would believe us.
Just as well!
The hotel was advertised as disability friendly. This was not so. To begin with I was asked to use a side entrance for my disability buggy, just ring the bell and wait. Our room was on the second floor accessed by a lift with a heavy wooden door and the lift capacity was one person only and standing up. No real easy way to use the lift with out help. Our room was very small, and our bathroom had a bath with a shower over bath completely useless for my self. No room cleaning or empty og b
The view
Cleaning old pillows dusty , old mattress ,shower didn’t drain ,had to ask for towels etc out of date beer
The staff were friendly.
The carpets were stained and they smelt. The hotel was in my opinion and my partners opinion not done up since the 1970s. I had to ask for towels and toilet roll to be delivered to my room on the second day. Otherwise no one came around to the room. The carpet in our room was stained.
Everything
There wasn't
Great location to pier and shops
Noise from seagulls but expected on front
