Disappointed with bucket of Ice issue for no reason.
Pros:

Room was but had a note that linen was not changed but looked like an error

Cons:

I had a holding charge for a bucket of ice and this is the first time in 4 visits but the guest after me did not.

Love Holiday Inn Express
Pros:

Love this group of hotels I always choose this brand if in area. Super comfy and quiet rooms with the nicest bathrooms and love the breakfast included. Short walk to Macquarie centre and public transport.

Good location for the metro and Macquarie Centre shopping
Pros:

No problems with the underground car park as I prebooked my car. I was notified in person when the room was ready.

Cons:

It is slightly embarrassing to ask permission to use the lobby restrooms before checking in. I had a long car journey so the call of nature was rather urgent. One blind in the room was not working so I couldn't totally black out the room. Luckily, I was able to sleep without able to pull down a blind. I notified reception on check out the next day.

Very good for overnight stop

Spacious room, clean, breakfast

Cons:

Bathroom light was very bright and lit up the entire room which was inconvenient at night when not trying to waken others. Difficulty getting free to air on the TV. Parking price was expensive for quests considering station across the road was more than half the price.
