Best Place in Banos for Beauty and Peace and Quiet
Pros:

Stay here! This absolutely beautiful hotel had amazing views, a beautiful balcony, and the sweetest hostess. We switched from a place in downtown because downtown was too noisy for me to sleep. Here there was peace and quiet and only the sounds of the river and the birds to put me to sleep. It is a very short taxi to get into downtown, and the hostess was very helpful in calling them. She made us a delicious breakfast with way too much food. It was just amazing. This is the only place I would stay if I come back to Banos.

Hope to return to Baños and stay here again.
Pros:

Beautiful, relaxing, and close to everything while still being separated from the chaos.
Pros:

The view was spectacular, the staff was super helpful and tolerant of my poor Spanish, the bed was comfortable and the only noise was the welcome sound of the river. I hope to go back again.

Beautiful hotel with amazing staff
Pros:

What a lovely hotel! It is beautiful inside and out. Our room had a beautiful view, the beds were comfortable and The sound of birds and the river were so relaxing. Everyone was exceptionally helpful from helping my husband with his travel digestive issues to recommending things for us to see and do. I highly recommend Aldea Real.

Several guests have mentioned the distance to Banos from this hotel as a problem. We had our own car so really preferred not being in town. I suspect overnight parking would have been an issue in Banos and possibly noise as well. We found it to be an easy drive into Banos and street parking surprisingly easy once we got the hang of it. (An attendant will leave a ticket on your windshield. You just have to figure out where to pay when you return to your car.)

Cons:

No a thing! Although I would have taken their golden retriever home with me!
