Once again the Beekman delivers at New Year's!
Pros:

The Beekman as always made our Christmas and our New Year;s celebrations all the move memorable and glorious! What a fantastic hotel with an equally fantastic staff and amenities. It a grand old hotel with an equally grand demeanor and atmosphere that is like stepping back in time to a more hospitable and gracious era. We have enjoyed the Beekman and its New Year's celebrations for three years now and it has become a mandatory and indispensable family tradition for us. Thank you again for making this family feel incredibly blest and special to have such an amazing and wonderful part of our Christmas!

Sadly I cannot recommend :(
Pros:

I stayed at The Beekman Hotel for six nights in December 2025. Unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations.

On one night, disruptive guests pulled the fire alarm, waking the entire hotel at both 5:00 a.m. and again at 10:00 a.m. On another morning, the fire alarm was pulled again at 7:00 a.m. As someone who lives in New York City, I booked this stay as a staycation, but I ultimately got less sleep than I would have in my own apartment.

Additionally, on my first morning, the restaurant downstairs, Temple Court, was experiencing mechanical issues with some of its ovens and stovetops. This resulted in significant delays, with both myself and nearby guests waiting 45 minutes to an hour for our food. The food there was also just mid in my opinion.

That said, the housekeeping staff were consistently warm and kind, and I appreciated the daily delivery of two complimentary bottles of water to the room.

Very poor experience - would not recommend
Pros:

Had to move room due to noise from atrium / bar. Staff were unhelpful in response and were poor generally, including telling us lunch / dinner were being served at specific times when in fact they were not serving any food due to NYE.

We were so pleased about the space and the amenities, that we have recommended it to locals for their family stays and w
Pros:

The rooms were spacious and easily accommodated our family of 4. The elevators never left us waiting for long and the physical space of the hotel is beautiful.
It is conveniently located near almost all subway lines and many amenities that FiDi has to offer.

Cons:

3 of the 5 nights of our stay the fire alarm was activated in the early morning hours (3-5am), waking us all and that was a big nuisance. In fact, it’s rare on almost all of our previous trips as a Family, so it was particularly alarming to our children, and of course disrupted sleep.

Amazing experience
Pros:

The customer service was next level! BIG thanks to Dan in reception! He truly made our stay better than we could have hoped for! The room was gorgeous, clean and quiet, and the bed and linens were so comfortable. Dinner in Le Gratin was delicious and accommodated us without a reservation. I also highly recommend breakfast in the Bar Room. Beautiful hotel in a landmark building and magical around the holidays.

Location and Ambiance
Pros:

Loved the location in the Financial District, with easy access to subway and walkable restaurants and movie theater. Loved the restoration of this old hotel - you could almost picture horse drawn carriages outside. Noise level in room was quiet, as we were not directly on the street. Housekeeping was fantastic, but there should have been an easier way to skip it if we wanted to. Amenities in the room were plentiful, especially the minibar. Hotel has two restaurants, at the bar food was good, if expensive, but the setting is wonderful. There is an 8 story atrium above the back half of the restaurant. All hotel staff were friendly and helpful, would definitely return.
