We enjoyed our stay and it was our first time in Galesburg.
Pros:

The staff were amazing and very friendly and helpful when it came to finding places to eat and getting extra blankets and pillows.

Cons:

The shower was a little old and had spots of chipped paint or something but it was still fairly clean. Didn't make the stay bad or anything

Was nice and would recommend staying to others.
Pros:

Breakfast was good the ladies serving the breakfast were excellent, friendly, professional and personable.

Cons:

The pillows were way too soft, there were doors that could we heard and felt shake the walls slamming through the night. We were in bed by 9:00, so that may be early to some but the doors closing so hard was excessive. The price seems a little high for Galesburg.

All in all, my stay was fine.
Pros:

Breakfast and coffee quite good. Breakfast staff was quite good.

Cons:

Front desk person was more interested in dissing the third party reservation company than helping to solve the problem that the third party (Booking.com) caused. Because on information failure through third party it took too much time and too much frustration to hook up to internet.

Great rooms, and spacious and delicious breakfast. Like the fire "pit" outside too.

Cons:

Some of the light switches (there are many) were a little tough to figure out.

Pros:

Although the exterior and lobby look updated and fresh the rooms need some attention. My room had a bad odor and the carpet had stains all over it. I’m guessing that contributes to the odor. The pillows also should be replaced with ones that are clean and don’t smell of body odor. Not sure I would stay here again.

Pros:

Staff and hotel were nice. Some problems with air conditioning, otherwise room was great. Trouble with sleeping due to outside noise. Limited eating establishments close by.

Cons:

After traveling all day to get to the hotel we were told that it was a $50 charge to check in 45 minutes early and I have been a Holiday Inn member for years. The staff need some education on customer service.

Pros:

I stayed in this same motel 3 weeks ago. My main complaint is with the pillows. They go flat as soon as your head lays down on them. Everything in the room is fine, but the pillows need replaced for ones more plump.
