Bay View Hotel

Have to commend the staff. Under the present circumstances they handled the pressure really well at breakfast. Always friendly and helpful.

Rooms are a bit worn and dated. But very clean.

Our stay in Bayview Hotel was very welcoming. Despite the Covid-19 guidelines, the staff ( Including Manager, Seamus , Receptionist Maria and all the Dining-Room and Bar staff were all really helpful and friendly.

Beds very hard and water not warm enough but otherwise ok

Got lovely big room with a fab view. People are lovely. Will go back again.

Excellent hotel and friendly staff

Loved the room with seaview. Neutral decor in bedroom. V.comfortable bed. Seafood chowder was best i ever tasted. Great steak on Saturday nights. Lovely atmosphere in bar.

Stayed for a wedding in the area. The staff couldn't have been more helpful! Booked us a taxi and came into the bar to let us know when it was there letting us chill out and relax.

Great location. Nice view of the harbor. Walked all around easily. Good dinner in the hotel.

This hotel has s nice location by the fishing harbor. Although the bar service was poor, waited some time fir a server even though place wasn’t full. In fact they looked at our empty table & ourselves yet seem to ignore us. Staff was young but seemed capable when they did there job. Food was good both in evening and st breakfast. Front desk personnel were helpful.

Good family hotel, with very friendly staff. Breakfast was exceptional while the bar food in the evenings was simple but satisfying.An excellent base for exploring south Donegal and I am sure we will be back again before long.

Welcoming and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Great location. Decor slightly tired but clean. Free parking nearby. Good base for touring Donegal coastline. Local visitor centre very interesting. Working fishing port with local seafood outlets. Thoroughly enjoyed our two day stay.

Hotel was fine but basic, and expensive given the condition. Breakfast was poor, although we were down half an hour before it finished so im sure its better if you are up early. Walls very thin and there was laundry all over the 2nd floor all afternoon. No plugs by bed, some plugs not working, not enough shampoo etc.t

Our trip to Bay View was very friendly, comfortable trip. Though our visit was short, the staff were very friendly, room really comfortable, clean and beds gave us really good nights sleep.
Breakfast was very good, though maybe a bit short on staff here.

Beautiful part of Donegal. Fintragh beach just a five minute drive it’s a must if you love beautiful scenery. The hotel was lovely the room was abit dusty other than that I can’t complain. Bar food was delicious and good value. Great selection of beer on tap.

The food was excellent both at breakfast and in the bar,the staff were attentive,friendly and extremely helpful with all. Killybegs may not be your first thought for a short break but myself and wife are glad we give it a try.

The hotel staff was lovely and welcoming. Rooms and hotel overall was very nice, clean and had a gorgeous view. The only negative thing is the bar in the hotel. Arrived for dinner and wasn't even acknowledged for like 20 minutes. Had get up and get a menu myself then took another 10-15 minutes to get asked for order. I understand that they were busy with an event but there were people who arrived after us and were served before we were. Next evening went down for a drink and staff again seemed rushed and didn't really make much effort to serve us. Breakfast staff was lovely though.

Lovely hotel in the centre of Killybegs, staff are very friendly and the breakfast was delicious. The room was spacious with a lovely view overlooking the harbour.
