Go for a drink - but don't stay the night
Pros:

Great location, friendly people, mostly friendly and helpful staff (apart from the manager on duty that night).
Lovely old pub vibe.

Cons:

The electricity on the accommodation level stopped working at 8:30 pm. Staff tried to fix it but couldn't. When I asked, I was advised that an electrician had be called. That was around 10 pm. No further updates were given to the numerous guests staying that night.
The power didn't come on all night - so no light, no phone charging, NO AIR CON on one of the hottest summer nights. Trying to find the shared bathroom in a pitch-black corridor was near impossible. I also require a CPAP and couldn't use it as it needs electricity.
When I requested a refund, it was bluntly refused. Not happy.

Pros:

Great location, amenities were fine, the food is excellent and it was all so easy to check in and out. The staff are exceptional!

Everything is broken
Pros:

Good location

Cons:

Staff were rude, tv and fridge and window were broken in our room. Shared bathroom with all of the rooms, one toilet and the lock was broken so you couldn’t shut the door when using it.
